By the way, I stumbled upon you through beauty channels and you are absolutely hilarious and brilliant!! Thanks for making me laugh😂😂❤
Love the thumbnail choice LOL!!!!! 👏
I honestly don’t understand the obsession with Kylie Cosmetics at all. I would never buy anything from the line when there are so many other brands that are great and with good people behind it. 👀
And how do u know those people behind are "good" ???
@@aleejjj They're just not as shite as Kylie.
Fr just lining her pockets when she doesn’t deserve it
I generally distrust every aspect of the beauty industry, but Kylie is a whole 'nother level of scammer. Fake billionaire, apparently skill-less, etc... I am more upset at consumers tho, why are we "supporting" people, whether Kylie or a more typical influencer, and throwing money and gifts at them, when they clearly outearn us by far? This parasocial nonsense is leading right to perdition...
we really still talk about "good people" behind brands when frekkin everyone and their dog has a scandal these days....?
"It's gooood... because... it looks good on everyooone... It has stuff in iiit... I use it on my eyelashes...." she's just one step above incoherent, who approved this?
😂😂😂
🤣🤣
☠☠
Her team approved it and it doesn't have to be coherent people will love it and buy it because her fans are nuts
Her team knows there are enough ppl out there that will buy anything with the kardashian name on it that it wouldn’t matter if she was speaking complete gibberish
how can a person not have a single ounce of charisma in them?? that's the first time ive actually seen kylie talk and its so weird
She just speaks in such a monotone and lacklustre way , it’s amazing really 😂😂
I remember the first time i saw her moving face a few years ago! 😧 makes to realize how bad her surgery and fillers are! The difference between photos and irl is a canyon!! 🤣
She looks animatronic
She has no soul like no really.
Isn't it? She speaks quite like a robot. I mean, I have no issue with her other than just about everything 😂
The thing is Kylie isn’t giving us a reason to choose her products over the competition. “It’s just so soft & so delicious” okay but what makes it different from Aveeno or Dove baby wash?
She uses terms like delicious, juicy etc a lot describing her products. Chick is just perpetually salivating like a dog. Someone get her a burger for the love of God
FRFR id just buy la roche posay lipikar wash and balm
But her baby is Juicy! WTF does that even mean? Babies are not steaks or fruit.
She sold the brand to Coty Cosmetics for 500 million so she probably couldn't care less what the products are like and resents having to even make an effort at this point. Just an obligation for her, and I'm positive she doesn't know the first thing about the ingredients or what they are for. I doubt she would even care if they were carcinogens made in China.
😑soft and delicious…sounds like she’s selling a loaf of bread 🥖😴😴😴
The way Kylie talks about her products is like she’s forced to sell her own products thinking ugh do I really have to say I use these (meanwhile using expensive products and makeup on her own skin and face)
When she mentioned that she always uses these three products of hers I wasn't really believing it. I don't think she uses Kylie cosmetics especially because it's kinda the same as color pop.
so trueeee !
@@teen-queen I can only imagine her using her own products if they were some specific custom colour that was extra perfect for her colouring, then I can imagine her using her own product from time to time 😂
I notice that too.
Exactly
i remember a promo video she did for her primer, and literally all she had to say about it was "it's soooo gooooOoOd" with her signature blank stare
“ I love this primer because it’s such a good primer” 😂😂
Lol!
Her fans probably think it's a good, complete review.
@@RobertWelsh good mercy slogan there...
@@RobertWelsh exactly what went thru my mind.. hearing her saying "I love this[insert product here] sooooo much bc it is just soooo good!" 😂😂😂
Biggest mascara red flag was her: "I don't love to do a lot on my bottom lashes [...]" and then quickly changing it to "I said I wasn't gonna do a lot on my bottom and then this is what I do" as she applies it. Makes it seem like this is the first time she even tries on 'her own' mascara that she's trying to sell to us now ... 🤐🤐
That part made me think "ok, so basically that means it's difficult to control how much product is deposited by the wand..." seems odd to leave that in the video as if it's a good thing.
Exactly
Her baby line campaign is so funny, showing her “seductive” eye gaze to think moms will buy her products becoz of that.. 😅
I thought her stare was creepy😂😮
The fact that they became billionaires without any talent other than the ability to get loads of plastic surgery, is really indicative of how fked up the world is
Kylie: “It’s really a one swipe wonder”.
Robert and all of us: “…That’s multiple swipes.”
Right??? I was counting 1, 2, 3, lots!!
@@annegirard3697 I guess it’s good that they didn’t do some kind of scene cut to make it look like it was really only one swipe. But nobody is going to care if that mascara takes one swipe or twenty swipes to apply if you try to lie to their faces. They just won’t buy your product.
@@frightfang hahaha spot on!!
A lot of brands lie. U still support
@@jessicajones8872 I buy what I can afford with an informed decision and a basis of trust that what I buy will actually do at least some of what it’s advertised to do without the help of a gimmick.
She had a lot more to say about the packaging size and color than the product itself, which I think speaks to the level of her involvement.
Everything is surface level to these people smh they’re so shallow
Yup. I’m sure the only thing she had an opinion on was the packaging.
@@Cristina_504 and wonder why they can't keep a man... 🤡. It's all so detached. The ONLY person I know they love for sure is their Mom. Even that has strings attached. Kim was her fave when she made made the most money (Kids even joked about it). Now Kylie is The fave 🤔. Look how FAST the entire family dropped Rob for gaining weight?!?! They TRULywere ďone with Rob until he was diagnosed. Hence why Khloe suddenly feels valuable with her wrightloss.
Yup true 😂😂
@@kelliintexas3575 I agree 100 %
Every time I go to Ulta, Kylie Cosmetics aisle always looks so depressing. Her products just sit there collecting dust, people passing by not giving them second look. While other brands got girls lining up to swatch and grab their products. Their flop era is here. 😅
That was quick. I remember her stuff selling out and there would be very little left on the shelf. I guess not any more.
I have some kylie cosmetics stuff that Ulta gave to me FOR FREE a couple years ago! I wouldnt give any of them my money, but I accepted their free stuff. I like the eyeshadow palette, but I think I'd feel differently if it had actually cost me any money. It doesn't seem that long ago that Kylie brand was selling out, but those days really are long gone.
I must say, she appears young and pretty here, unlike her usual 40-y-o. divorcee look.
@@rubyparchment5523 damn, not to defend kylie but it sounds like you hate 40 yo women in general lol
@rubyparchment5523 if that's your face in your thumbnail photo.....something something stones and glass houses. Feel better doll.
😂 wait...baby products with no child in sight for the promo? I have yet to see the fascination or benefits of ANY of their products (or them for that matter). I wish Robert would develop a line... he's amazing!
Such a good point! She didn’t even have to show her kid’s face just her arm being moisturized but she’s like “I’m not actually putting that crap on my baby” loll
Didn't he try to do a sock line for men years ago?
The way she speaks with that lobotomized tone of voice when she says "I'm so excited" and "i've had so much fun introducing my new mascara to you guys!"
😂😂😂😂😂
Its quite amazing actually. The actual LACK OF SOUL 🤯
But she's so excited tho XD
100% Agree
😂😂😂
also no matter which product or brand one of the karjenners releases, every single thing is always "their biggest dream". like bffr, we all know releasing an overpriced mascara isn’t something you dreamt about 🙄
I’m not sure she’s able to move her face more than that lmfao
NGL, i feel bad for her. She was programmed to not have her own personality and just be a product robot for her mother. 😢
me too, I can't imagine grow up in front of cameras :(
I also heard that her self esteem was basically obliterated by being in the show. She got so much work done to feel good around her sisters/mom.
The inevitable tell-all book should hit stores within the next 2 decades, prob later than sooner tho. Kris Jenner is going to make Joan Crawford look like a cuddlebug...
Meanwhile in Sudan…
@@Persefone94 how does that pertain to the conversation
I’m sorry “There’s nothing better than a juicy baby” had me dead 💀😂 you’re the best 💕
I was laughing so hard, when he said that 😂😂😂
Same!! 💀💀
It's funny because Kylie, having the economic capacity and a ridiculously full bank account, could be standing out in the market with innovative products, instead, there are indie brands that do not have even a fraction of the capital and end up releasing products that are worth the investment, not just because the product is objectively good, but because you can see the love and hard work in every detail
Like which brands??
The entire Kardashian/Jenner lot can just go away forever in my opinion. Everything the family represents, how they behave, their tone deafness relating to the real world, their flaunting of their wealth…it’s just awful. For all the money they have, I’ve never once seen them put it to better use by giving it to charities or working in any capacity to make the world a better place.
🥰
👏👏👏
Like that time one of them posted a medical GoFundMe for like a makeup artist or somebody they'd worked with, like hon you could pay the whole effing bill and not even notice, what are you even doing
@@vintagearisenyes! I remember that. Unbelievable. I don’t get why people r obsessed with them
Skims is really good, to be honest.
I (very briefly) worked as a rep for Kylie skincare and started just before the launch of the line. My job was to travel to the vendors here in the Baltimore/DC market and educate their beauty advisors and make sure merchandising/promos are up to date. The whole company is shady, I feel like Kylie isn't driven by passion, everything is a money grab for her.
Omg please share more details if possible! Unless there's an NDA you signed
Well.. I'm not surprised at all. Not even a little bit. Kylie seem to be very shallow and materialistic.
Lol well duh! Everything all that family does is a money grab. Gross people.
She's a Kar Jenner off course it's about a profit.
@@Mataylor17 Not really, if you look at Jeffree, Fenty or Rare you can tell they care about the products, being innovative, inclusive etc. Yes they are brands so they wouldn't be doing it without the money, but you can feel there's thought and work to deliver quality products. While with Kylie cosmetics it's like the marketing team just created something quick, put her name on it, and then she promotes without even knowing the product, it's just "it's great, beautiful, my favorite", her products look cheap and there's nothing new about them. Just a generic cheap product that it's expensive just because Kylie's name is on it.
THANK YOU! Someone that's well known and respected in the beauty community giving their honest opinion is refreshing! I thought the same thing.. basically the ads are "Hiiiii I'm Kylie Jenner.... buy this because I'm Kylie Jenner...even though in real life I don't use this stuffff.."
As a cosmetic chemist, you’d be surprised how little control and influence celebs have with their own lines. They are definitely told what to say. From my experience it’s not always the celebs fault. They are pressured into making a decision by their team and the labs marketing department. Also, the amount of testing that goes into a singular product takes tons of time which the celeb usually doesn’t have to spare so decisions are made on their behalf based off of consumer studies and trials. You’re spot on with your assumptions!
Sorry , yes it is their fault.
"takes tons of time which the celeb usually doesn’t have to spare" UMMM......
Ehhh they can fire their shitty teams that pressure them to try and do things they don't want to do, maybe not celebs starting out but definitely people of her popularity and wealth.
I wonder if the celeb says what they want for the product to be like and they are just told that they are doing what the celeb says, but really are just doing what they want?
Kylie is like me when I do a presentation at school and I freakin did no research the day before and have to wing it.
Fr😂
100😂
Omg Robert thank you for this! I don't know how people still support that family, they don't care about their merchandise or their customers.
Or people that they steal from
same! how have they lasted in the light for this long
This helps anyone trying to sell anything. Thank you
The whole family is just trashy
Because they are either very young and naive or low IQ.
Same, Robert. I keep getting the “you should buy it cuz i use it, like, look at me” instead of “you should TRY it because the shape of the wand/applicator is slimmer, the formula is to enhance eyelashes growth etc”. That’s the one im looking for. Without it, this product is just another item on the shelf.
Jeffrey star alongside Shane where able to give us a 4 hour long ad to sell us horrendous eyeshadow colors (aka the documentaries lol) and it was literally what you mentioned: process, why they chose what they chose and how they use it.
That's all I was thinking of the wholee time!
The way Kylie is talking about her mascara is like she’s never seen or used it before and she got tossed onto a set, handed her product, and told “promote this” without being given a script.
RIGHT!!??😂
oh she was given a script there were words like juicy~✨,vitamin something~✨,one swipe~✨,picked that makeup wand design~✨,Aloe vera~✨ she was scripted 😂😂😂😂
My ex bestie bought a lot of Kylie cosmetics up to the skincare line. When she used the skincare and it started to react to her skin, I told her ab how bad the products were. She said she didn’t care cause Kylie used it and her skin seemed fine. People definitely support just bc of the name and not the actual quality of the products.
Well I’m sure after she had that reaction to it maybe she’ll think twice next time and if not you can’t help her lol
I'm sure Kylie doesn't use her cheap skincare line. I know a lot of people believe these celebrities use their sponsored products, but I would bet they don't.
Why is she your ex bestie ? 👀
She’s delusional if she thinks Kylie uses her own products. She’s a multi millionaire. She probably uses extremely high end products. Her cleanser probably costs a weeks wages for the average person. 🙄
I guarantee Kylie is NOT using her own products especially the skin care lol
Thank you for posting a video on something that might be an unpopular opinion… we all know Kylie’s “business meetings” are just her sitting in a room and the lab presenting her different formulas, colors, textures, consistencies, brushes, packaging, she picks the one she likes, stamps her name on them and boom! there’s a $40 palette and a $35 macara tube and a video telling her fans that she “poured her heart and soul into it!”
I have to say, your eyes POP with the shades you chose for this look. I can't get enough! I cannot look away! Just gorgeous!
Trixie Mattel is an example of a brand owner who you can tell has poured so much of themselves into every product. She goes into detail of how they came up with every shade, formula, even the packaging.
The Kylie brand has no vision. The lip shades are pretty, but there’s nothing exciting going on. Everything is just fine. It’s not bad, but it’s not exciting.
I love watching Trixie gush over her own blushes tbh, you can tell that brand owner LOVES what he makes!
Trixie gives us nothing but genuine loveable Trixie 🥰
Totally, she's even honest with the fact that initially she created items she felt were missing in the market, that she wanted for herself. Love it. I rarely purchase makeup, but on any holiday, my friends & fam already know, just get me something from Trixie, and I'm like a kid on Christmas! 🖤
Trixie has a makeup line 😱
Yes, Trixie is a great example of a passionate owner.
It's because she knows nothing about the formulation, the ingredients and what they do, what effect the design of the brush actually does, she is just the name, THAT'S IT
Exactly
This is why I love you, you're honest, direct but not mean. Just fair. Keep being you Mr Welsh
After Kylie said one-swipe mascara and then she was going over and over her lashes, I was thinking…. as she’s doing multiple swipes????? A couple seconds later, Robert says, “as she’s doing multiple swipes”! Love you Robert! You’re real…we get you, you get us ❤
This may be one of favorite of Robert’s videos of truth ever !!
I have never done so many swipes as she has in this video with any mascara I own. That was just insane amount of product deposited on one's lashes.
This!! x 💯💯💯💯 😂🤦♀️🤷
I think she meant 1 drip rather than one swipe lmao. She doesnt know how to talk it seems
Kylie legal department: the only safe assertions for mascara - it generally is applied on eye lashes, has ingredients, packaging is pinkish, and there IS a wand.
I know jefree star isn’t liked by a lot of ppl, but ONE thing I will always appreciate about his reviews on his own brand is that he KNEW his ish!! Gave us close-ups, details about the brush & formula. You could tell he was IN THAT LAB!!!
I love him. He doesn't bend to the woke mob.
He hasn't done anything wrong.
@@spookshow6999 which is why I have a secret respect for him lol. He don’t bend for nobody! And tells it how it is! I love going back to his old reviews when he used to REALLY not give a damn😂😂 his kylie makeup brush review is still top tier tbh
@@spookshow6999 did he say racial slurs? Yes. To a white person out of anger😂 and I’m BLACK, but I don’t hold that shit from YEARS ago against him bcus he was nice enough to include POC in each of his campaigns after that. But yeah idk I don’t hate him as much as a lot of other folks
@@spookshow6999isn’t there a video of him groping a random stranger
I dont understand why in 2023 there are still so many people who buy Kardashian/Jenner stuff. After all the controversy, scandals, terrible/mediocre products at elevated prices, bad customer service reports and more. Please someone explain.
Maybe if you actually ever tried Kylie cosmetics products instead of hating you would realize why people like it 💀
Humans are idiots that's why
For a brand worth that much they need to hire better script writers. Even if she's not involved in the process they can use the script to fake it, it just comes across as lazy
Right? If they're already scripting it, they can write it so it it sounds like she's involved in the process.
yeah but...Kylie cant act. No matter what is written, people are gonna smell bs. So, its probably she says the least. Also, her main audience are 20s and lower. Most are superficial and just care about the look of products. To people who know better, it looks lazy, to her target audience, it's a gold mine.
Agree. At this point I’d probably have more respect for the brand if she just told me to go f*ck myself. Lol.
And a better packaging designer. It’s not bad, it’s like 1-2 cool things per product but the white printing on the pastel ombré is criminal. Jail jail jail. You can tell they need it to be just good enough.
@@minilea144 actually gen-z folks apparently invest more money and energy into niche brands and more sustainable living. So the only people buying that are either very young or no-one is buying it. Or they are buying it just to make a video to get money back for what they wasted on that garbage.
I love how Robert can educate and be savage at the same time 😂

Your brows and eyes are gorgeous Robert. Way more to be in aww of then her basic eyes. You got a new subscriber because I fell in love with your voice and eyes.
Robert... Rooobberrrt. You made me snort coffee through my nose! 😅 Seriously though thank you for covering this. It winds me up when brands like Kylie just do the absolute bare minimum and expect the money to come rolling on in. What's worse is that it actually does. I find it pretty offensive that she blatantly doesnt give AF about the actual process and ingredients. I'm big into skincare, and I howled when she talked about glycerine. Glycerine is the second most common ingredient in any lotion, next to water. It's like saying there's cocoa in a chocolate milkshake.
What I love about you Robert is that you're not afraid of being honest and always being upfront with everything
I honestly find the Kylie Baby promo so strange. I never really put much lotion on my daughter because she had moisturised skin without many concerns. Parents I know use specific lotions due to skin concern, sensitivities/allergies, not to have a 'juicy baby' which is such an odd choice of words by the way..
You'd think she'd be focusing on why it is good for baby skin and what it avoids due to sensitivities.
I thought that was weird too! Made me not want to use it.
ALL WHILE BEING DRESSED LIKE A VEGAS STRIPPER... 😳🤡🤦♂️
Juicy😂
yeah the whole "juicy baby" thing... plus i dont really like how she uses her daughter for promo and social media engagement and has been doing this since she was a baby, even making STORMI Kylie Cosmetics collabs like?? profiting off children who have no say in the matter will always rub me the wrong way
@@lauraboredom2168 and they only do it to their daughters.
I’ve received full size of her products as freebies and I’ve either given them away or tossed them. That’s how much I don’t support the brand.😂
And let's hope you have nothing good coming to you ever again because you have no gratitude for nothing the universe does not like that
Ohmigosh, Robert - I’ve been subscribed to your channel for several months now, but I’ve lately been going through older videos of yours that I haven’t watched. You have got me giggling and spitting out my water all the way over in Atlanta, Georgia with your wonderful sense of humor. Your expertise in your field and humor are such a good combination!
Her introducing her mascara reminds me of people in high school who were part of a team presentation and were preparing their part right before the presentation and just winging it on the spot. "Ooh, so. Canada. Canada is a state. A big state. Look, it's so big and beautiful. Everybody loves Canada. Amazing, how nice the people there are, right? " Not dissing her, just find it really funny. Even if she wasn't an active participant in the making of it, she could have made the effort like she was.
BTW - I’m not arguing that some of the products may be good. I’m sure they work great for some people. This is why I MYSELF don’t use the brand as people have asked me. This isn’t a boycott Kylie cosmetics video 😂
Gurl. That whole family is Rancid. I don't trust anything they come out with... Maybe exept theire fragrances... They have been praised
I feel like if she can't even articulate why they are worth buying, then why should anyone buy them?
"Nothing better than a juicy baby..." 😂 spit out my coffee! Merch? If Kylie didn't just rip it off! 😂
I already boycott anything from that family but yeah she’s extra dense in these advertisements 😂
Do not forget to make a video about Selena Gomez's products and make a mockery of her because she does not explain you every single ingredient. I thought you were unbiased.
Points were made and Robert this is why I watch your channel! You're cute and funny, but you know your craft! I trust your opinion because I know it comes from experience and professionalism 💜💜
LOVE the eye makeup 😍😍😍 also love watching and listening to your videos!!
See this is why I like Rare Beauty so much. Selena is involved and when asked questions about her products she can answer. When she came out with her mascara she gave DETAIL about how the brush was shaped and why they chose that shape and why that shape is good for every lash type. Like Kylie isn’t just not involved, she doesn’t care about the actual product or who uses it just as long as they pay for it.
She’s only interested in making money. In a short video about her mascara, she doesn’t go into detail about it and promotes her other products! She’s in it for the cash grab…end of.
It's definitely a great comparison, good point
All celeb brands are trash
@@KagomeYasha023 I think Rare Beauty is actually incredible, would love to try About Face by Halsey
Fenty Beauty is v good too
I think you can tell Selena is really in it because of what you just said and idk how involved she is in general at the launch parties the way she treats everyone and as you said she actually answers the questions, talks about the products in detail and idk rare beauty's products are actually great quality, have always been cruelty free and inclusive and their brand mission and message is very powerful and clear meanwhile Kylie's line just seems like Kylie merch it all surrounds her and her family/friends it's all KYLIE KYLIE KYLIE and the quality and price are questionable, it does seem like a cash grab to me

This is why we love you Robert! You haven’t blindly slammed her, you’ve put more thought into this critique than she seems to have in a product launch. I just get sad when they have all the opportunities in the world and it’s taken for granted.

Why sad? They have the opportunity to make bank and they do.
@@rabbit3212010 sad because they choose to release boring/easy products when she has the resources to launch something interesting or industry changing.

You put into words what I've always felt about her and her makeup brand. I could tell she was somehow detached from it, but thank you for explaining what exactly is lacking!
Detached from the brand is a perfect way to put it!
I don't trust her skincare brand on the other hand I buy from Honest by Jessica Alba and I love it, started using it when my daughter was 2 years old, she's 8 now, we alternate between Aveno baby shampoo and the honest shampoo, her hair is so beautiful, when she goes to her grandma and comes back I swear I can tell she took a shower their, because her hair gets super dry, so yeah I do recommend some celebrity brands.

Wow, YOU are stunning and that eye makeup really adds to your beauty. Just a gorgeous human 💖
This makeup look you're wearing is GORGEOUS oh my god
'As she does multiple swipes' lol, so true. She spent longer talking about the packaging than anything else, but I feel they aim very much at a market concerned with packaging aesthetic above product quality etc. The white's of Kylie's eyes were so altered and disturbing to me in the baby ad!
I know zero about make-up. But as a mum the fact that she has the cheek to launch a baby range and not go into detail about ingredients and what tbey do is absolutely shocking and mind blowing!!! Her heart and soul isn't in her brands....she's out to make money and she's the face of it not the brains or knowledge
Girl same. And why is her image still ✨sexy✨ when marketing baby products?
@@rachaelerin1 not appropriate is it? But if you want pèople to spend their hard earned money on baby products we need to know why we should and why they are good for our children. I bet she doesn't even use them on her own...
This is so true. Why didn’t she talk about harmful ingredients and how her products don’t contain those? Her brand is supposed to be “clean” so why didn’t she emphasize that? I said in another comment - these girls just show up for the photo shoots to show off their new surgeries. That’s all they care about. How they’ve lasted this long is beyond me
They never claimed to be brilliant. They've used their looks and influence over society.... to get money. People are paying less attention to them these days, this generation is all about deep meanings and feelings behind everything. Thank you for sharing your knowledge on brands and behind the scenes. You are amazing Robert!!
Your eye makeup is stunning as always.
I tried one lip kit I bought on resale from mercari and it was terrible and dry. It's gone. But I hate all the kardashians/jenners. I'm not okay with supporting them.
I got a free Kylie concealer with a very large Ulta purchase for Christmas. I packed all my new goodies in a brand new makeup bag, felt very fierce etc. Not a week later, the damn concealer packaging exploded (unprompted, I didn't drop anything, it was just sitting in there unused) and got all over my brand new products and stained my bag. It was also damn near clown white. I've never been so mad at an inanimate object.
TLDR: Kylie packaging is cheap as hell.

I love the giggles because they always come right when I'm rolling my eyes or smirking at something, too! Lol so enjoyable to watch! "What are you obsessed with?" Right?!
I love how one of the ingredients she listed was glycerin which is one of the most common and basic ingredients in a moisturizer 😂
👏👏👏
"This lotion is made with lotion and that's why I love using it to lotion!"
Even my nivea lotion has glycerin and its not as ridiculously expensive as her moisturiser
@riakibao I Love Nivea!❤
I love how you always see past all the fame and glam people might have and see things from a consumer perspective
Keep doing what you do Robert! Your honesty is so so helpful!
Thank you! 🖤🖤
Robert, this is the best I have ever seen you look! You always look great!
Tried some of her stuff back at Christmas. The lipstick was alright but the palette had no pigmentation. There are eyeshadow dupes at grocery stores with better pigment than that palette. I was excited because it had so many unique colors, but once they are on (many layers) you can even tell the difference between the colors.
Kylie “this product is VEGAN”. Also Kylie” I’m vegan but I’m not giving up cheese”. You’re Not vegan bábe.
When calves are stripped from their mothers and starved so we can suck the tit - how can anyone deny that food addiction? If canines were treated like bovine, there would be a January 6th style riot.
just say plant based, its right there.
Apparently she doesn’t know the difference between vegetarian & vegan. 🥴😅
Not everyone is a strict vegan or has to be. Chill.
@@handsanitizer5127 I am chill. It’s not that deep. I just find it funny. 🤷🏻♀️
Robert, you are SPOT ON with your assessment! Her fans will buy it, not matter the "fluff" advertising. Smart people realize it's just that, a cash grab, and will steer clear. Thanks for your honesty.
Many times you have apologised about something that we can’t even see. You’re gorgeous. Makeup always AMAZING!!! Flawless and Perfect! No need to apologise ❤
Omg your makeup brand would be so exciting 😁😁
Not sure how I feel about her referring to her baby’s skin as juicy
It sounds gross.
It was sooo uncomfy
Yes! Juicy trends to be a sexualized word, why would you want to use it in describing something for a baby or child.
Right? I cringed more than a little bit
Creepy af
“She used it on her child, because there’s nothing better than a juicy baby.” I’M- 😂😂😂 no lies were told though!
When she said that, it kinda creeped me out. 😬
A juicy baby!!! Come again!?!?! Hahahahaha what a joke
@@thatveganchick668especially coming from these Hollywood baby eaters 😳
"...quickly absorbed into her child..." 😂
I live in New Orleans and this is such a killer eye look for Mardi Gras, I absolutely love it!
Tank you for educating us all and of course your ethical approach to e everything you teach us all! ❤
I wouldn’t be surprised if this is the first time she’s ever seen or used this mascara 😂
I'd buy every single product you came out with if you made make up. I trust your word more than any other beauty professional and I have learned a lot from you.
I was thinking the same thing, that if Robert came out with ANY kind of product I would totally go for it immiedietaly. Hope this happens one day. ❤
Yes, we want a product from him
I really like your page because you’re so on the money. I appreciate it you so much.
Your makeup in this video is stunning!!❤❤
The thing is that Kylie’s whole marketing strategy is to use her as an influencer to get people to buy it. It’s essentially buying stuff that she recommends.
Yeahh, so she's... literally putting her own reputation down and implying that she can't possibly run her own company without relying on brainless fans to get anywhere with it, what a joke
I absolutely abhor anything Kardashian. I didn’t watch their tv crap, I don’t keep up w/their public personas, & I most certainly wouldn’t financially support ANY brand they ever design! UGHHHHH🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ ~I find that whole family just gross & preposterous 🙄🙄🙄 Robert, you’re the BEST ❤️👏🏻❤️👏🏻
Robeeeert I was hooping you will comment other her cosmetics! But even if it was two products in the video, I enjoyed hearing your opinion reeeeaaly much
you had me thinking about all my favourite mascaras and their wands and ingredients
Robert you never fail to keep it REAL!
She really took the "stand there and be pretty" memo to a whole new level lmao
Robert, thank you for another exceptional video. You're one of the very few UA-camrs with excellent content.
🤔Shea butter and aloe leaf... I'm sold! plus, I love the color red too! 🤣 Thanks for that laugh💜
As a Beauty Advisor for Sephora and Ulta. Our main goal is to sell and one of our challenges is to educate ourselves and others about certain brands and products. One of the key ways to sell is to know what the main ingredients target, understanding how those ingredients are beneficial towards our client’s Beauty goal, how and when to use the product. Kylie reminds me of those beauty advisors who pick up a product says “yes this is a good product” and just walks away (I hate being that Beauty Advisor). If you go into depth with your product it sells! Robert’s re-enactments are funny I’m actually dying 😂
YASSS!!! As a recently former, REAL Beauty Advisor for Sephora, I couldn't agree more. It's absolutely vital to know the chemistry of various ingredients, learn about your client's skin concerns/ needs to fully educate them on the exact reasoning behind why you chose this specific skin care regimen.
The joy of watching them leave with such pure joy, knowing that they didn't just waltz into a store and splurge, but instead had a whole entire experience with a new understanding of their own skin & what works best 🩷
Most important of all, that knowledge is so critical because you can legitimately destroy someone's skin by mixing the wrong products together or not specifying how often to use certain products. (PS: so easy to sell when you KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU'RE SELLING, & do so with a true, honest passion, including very honest feedback!)
Moving to Dillard's after Sephora was an awful mistake! So snakey, sharky & just morally WRONG! I couldn't do it-- I'd muuuch rather HELP others, not just push bs on them to get commission, beat other brand "specialists" 😖
This is why I love Rare Beauty! Selena Gomez explains/shows her products thoroughly. I’ve never purchased a Kardashian/Jenner product & don’t plan to
Rare Beauty has fragrance in the ingredients. Chemicals used to make fragrances are classified as allergens, hormone disruptors, asthma triggers, neurotoxins & carcinogens.
@@JeannettieP ok? Lots of brands do
@@JeannettieP actually, most of Rare Beauty's products do NOT have fragrance. I know this because I actively seek out fragrance free products. Her entire complexion range from foundation to under eye concealer do not have fragrance. Her blushes and highlighters and bronzer do not have fragrance either. Come to think of it, only her setting mist has fragrance, which makes sense from a sensorial mist standpoint. I'm curious to see what products did you check have fragrance in it?
All celeb brands are trash
@@KagomeYasha023 in MY opinion ALL celebrity brands are trash. There. Fixed it for you 😂
Your eyes makeup is so good I find myself having a hard time focus on what you say 😂❤.
Hahahaha can I petition that you and James re create commercials together, this was so funny
And she's doing multiple swipes - exactly what I wanted to say! 😂
"Lack of soul" you hit the nail on the head, Robert. Absolutely agreed
As* not and
Hello Robert! Love this eye look!! Happy Sunday! Can't say I care much for Kylie cosmetics. I feel like it's just a celebrity putting their name on something to make money not because they have a passion for makeup.
Agreed 👏🏽
omg the eye look is so gorgeous!!!!
The side eye at the beginning is EVERYTHING 😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤
The people who run out and buy her, or any of the K/J gangs products, are the people that make me concerned for our future... thank you for making this video. Anyone who is a viewer or buyer of any of their stuff is the reason they still exist.
And unfortunately it’s a lot of people. I can’t even blame the Kardashians. They don’t put any effort because they know their mindless fans will just go out and buy their products.
The amount of years they were on tv is because of all the viewership. So even if no one purchased their brands many watched the show and allowed them to become as rich as they all are🙄
@star Droplet I can absolutely blame them. They use their influence and money to dupe their fans into buying all their products. They use people and the market to their advantage for the sole purpose of lining their pockets. It's disgusting
It's mainly Tweens with uninvolved parents. 😔
Anyone who does that with celeb stuff makes me feel that way
