Your too kind. Seriously. As someone who rarely uploads I'm always blown away by the love. Thank you and everyone else. I love making the vids, and I'm glad you enjoy them too.
This is exactly why I watch these tackle Warehouse unboxing videos. It's actually how I found you channel. I look for new stuff to buy, and your video might have helped me find another hidden gem I didn't know about. Those Live target Sunfish are on sale for $5 bucks. Thanks for the insight to some cool lures! I'm going to grab one now.
Thanks King! Right??! Those Sunfish are pretty darn awesome and a hot deal right now. Just like you I wise up to a lot of whats out there via other people. I find IG to actually be better (maybe worse...haha) I've discovered TOO many cool lures on there! Glad the video helped you out man and best of luck in 2022 on the water.
Believe it Felix! I copped out and threw this up real quick, because the cicada review I'm doing....well, I my plan was to have it uploaded in May for the big Brood X emergence, but.....you can see how well I've done with that.
Duly noted Brandon. It's obvious I rarely get a video out, but I actually have terrabytes of data just on fishing stuff that I'm always chipping away at. I hope to get a few projects complete by years end. Thanks for watching and the input.
I liked your deep dive on the 175 comparisons. On another channel (Swimbait Reviews) he demonstrated on a Bucca Shad glide how the tighter joint action results in a wider glide distance laterally and the more open / larger angle joint movement gives the bait a more erratic and sharper twitch and cut action. He was able to show this by adjusting the screw eyes in the joint. I believe that this is also possible on the Deps baits and this is one of the tweaks that Butch makes on his custom tuned baits.
So heath taylor (owner of smash tech) just released a batch of the smash glide (formerly the 6th sense flow glider 140) they're sold out now but I got one and it is crazy good for being short and only 25$. I also picked up some of the new weedless shiners. They are 6 or 7" and use the that hudd style tail. Smash tech doesn't get the notoriety they deserve but I'm sure anyone who has used them knows how good they are.
Those LiveTargets are LEGIT. Easiest hollowbody bait to walk that I’ve ever used. LT has some of the best hollowbody baits out there. Very interested to see how the new SS swims. I own 4 175’s, and 2 of them swim like crap. The other 2 are money.
Still kickin' Ray! Active I guess is relative. I'm always chipping away at some video project, time is just tight and things get held up for me on my focus, which is larger reviews/long term projects. Thanks for stopping by man.
I'm not exactly sure, but it looks to be a size 1 treble. If your going to singles though I would size up being there is just one hook. You can run 1/0 singles if you prefer.
Another very informative video, thank you very much. When using braid to a leader, what is best for jig hook swim baits and what’s best for the treble swim baits. I’ve seen every combination when looking it up, however I was hoping to get your opinion. Thank you so much for all the help!
Me too Victor! Ha ha. I'm always chipping away at some video project, life is just a lot busier than it used to be. But, I'll always be around, albeit not on the regular like many channels. Thanks for dropping the positive feedback.
Thanks Tou. Yup, still here. Always working on something, just time is tight and things get held up in editing on my focus which is larger, project-type videos.
Thanks Victor. Its been an interesting year+ as it has for everyone, but we are well. I hope all the best for you and yours too. Project video's (not unboxings) are always in the works....but you know how quick I am ;P
Hey Gage, thank you. Well, if you watched them all then you must be a patient person as I know thats a serious time investment. I hope you enjoyed them and found some useful information in them. Best of luck out there!
Myyy guyyyy thank god u released a new video me and couple other guys where talking about u the other day hoping u will release a video soon and boom all of a sudden I see a new video.
Appreciate the kind words Matt and you taking a minute out to leave the comment. I'm always chipping away at some video, I just threw this up to get SOMETHING up after all these months.
@@KeepinItReelFishing no prob man hope u keep us updated an upload couple more vids soon keep it up an. I'm from south jersey reason I like ur vids so much lol because usually I can relate.
Oh yeah Dan, been spying that since they showed it at ICAST. May pick it up, but I've got a ton of other lures in that category I gotta work through first. Do you have it? If so what do you think?
@@KeepinItReelFishing It's a great lure with the way they made the weighted hook fit into the belly of the bait and it's super weedless, you can throw it into just about anything and not get hung up. Kicking action of the tail is also top notch - looks as close to the the real thing as you can get. The Pulse Tail Baitfish is also in the same league. These are only 4" baits though so not currently fitting your current large-bait fishing style.
This has nothing to do with any of the bait's in your unboxing but have you done anything on the baitsanity explorer I'd like to see how that goes being a new england angler myself
Man live target crapped their pants with the hollow body sunfish imho. The body and tail were not designed to hook a fish. When you snap the line it jumps out of the water and when you jerk it it does same thing because of the line tie being so high and weight being on the curved part of body so it makes the bait jump like a sea do pulling line tie up and hook points down. And add to that the solid plastic tail. If you hook 20$ it's a miracle. Savage gear made a better version. But you have seal hook hole and poke a hole in tail to keep water out but let air out in Hookset.
Can't see your eyes during the video...probably big-eyed! I know I am when I open boxes of new lures...like a kid in a candy store...lure junkie I am! Addicted to big baits
Looking down at your phone and seeing a KeepinItReelFishing upload is one of the best moments that happens a few times every year.
Agreed 💯

Yes yes yes thank you ...great vids !
Awesome! Thanks for showing the differences in the slide swimmers.

Really enjoy your videos, you have a gift in making your thoughts very informing , if that makes since. Keep doing them
Nice to see a video from you, I enjoy your in depth breakdowns of gear and baits. Hope all is well with you.
Hey Mark, thank you very much man and I'm glad you like video/approach. Tight lines out there man.
Awesome. Good to see a video again. Also cool sketch of the MR2 on the wall!
Thank you and good catch. Sport compact JDM's has been my other serious hobby since I was able to drive.
Awesome!! Missed your unboxing tabletop. Thanks for your time and details
Thanks Jeremy. I appreciate you taking the time to watch and to leave the comment. Hope your summer wraps up strong....tight lines!

they seem like stiffer plastic. anything to worry about? i gotta try it asap but worried id waste cash but can always boil them softer...?
@@blayz7399 Yeah there are things you can do to soften the plastic. TacticalBassin did a whole video on it.

Odd question but, do you know the hook size on the blackdog shellcracker g2? I want to replace them with singles.

Yahoo! This posting just made my day.
Thank you Joseph, and you know what....you taking the time out to write a message and say that makes my day man. Have a great weekend and tight lines!
I’ve been using a box cutter to cut my own hook slots if I need more weedless-ness and it works well on durable baits
Your absolutely right Fern, thats a quick easy fix. I should have noted that, but I was just pointing out the lure as it comes from the manufacturer.
Getting the car serviced and I see keepinitreel fishing just uploaded a video! Friday just got a little better!
Same here (Friday gets better), when you and all the other awesome people like you take the time to share the love. Have a great weekend.

Another great video broskie!! Good luck with all that new gear🤙🏼
Gracias amigo!! haha. Thank you, you just never know when you have purchased the next lure that will catch a new PB. We shall see...
Any update on the performance of the new new 175 slide swimmer? I'm looking at picking one up myself.
as much as i didn't like the 70s style as a kid, i couldn't help but grab the same hat and shirt for the nostalgia 😂
Right?? I could usually care less about their gear, but that one spoke to me too. Must be our age! haha
Good to see you uploading videos!

Karl, have you ever tried Izorline XXX Co-Poly? I just bought a 15 & 20lb spool for my 2.5oz glides. Thoughts?
How do you fish the bottom with all these open hooks not getting caught up on every cast?
But I also heard the new new SS anal fins at the tail joint help with stability at higher speed? Have you noticed that?
Lol I just watched all your big bass videos and then this video 🤣great work man

Those livetarget bluegill frogs are so hard to hook a fish with
I've heard that from a number of people, but I haven't had too bad of a time with the 3.5" model, hopefully the 4" is not significantly different.
What advice would you give someone that is just getting started with using big baits
