“The best atmosphere in world football.” Those were the worlds of Ronaldinho after he played at Portsmouth’s Fratton Park, a sentiment that’s echoed by so many in within the game.
Fast forward fifteen years since that night in the UEFA Cup, it’s been a rollercoaster ride on the south coast.
From the threat of liquidation to relegation to League Two, this is a city that’s never given up on it’s football club. And to this day, Fratton Park remains one of the most intense atmosphere in world football.
We took a trip to Pompey as the club aimed to become League One champions, to find out what makes Fratton Park so special.

I like doing Portsmouth on carrer mode because it's always funny playing in Europe seeing real madrid and big clubs at Fratton park I'm not a Portsmouth fan by any means I just like to try out different clubs and see how far I can get them in Europe and in the leagues. I once got Yeovil town from EFL league 2 to the champions league final.

@@fanhubofficial cool the best player at the club was a homegrown French CDM who could also play CB if needed he started for us and won us the champions league with his penalty goal against Real Madrid in the 2027 UCL final
