A Batman Beyond game would have been such a great send-off for Kevin Conroy. They also could have had flashbacks where you play as Bruce Wayne Batman. One of the biggest missed opportunities in human history.
If there's a studio that ever picks that comic line up, i pray it at least has the same level as the last few Arkham games...

This is a testament to how good Arkham Knight was, it's nearly 10 years old and it still looks amazing
2014 was a wild year for gaming. Assassins creed Unity dropped the same time and is still easily the best looking AC game. Even though the hardware has gotten more powerful with time, game studios really haven’t done much with it. The trend of game studios really has gone towards quantity over quality, as well as micro transactions and battle passes.
About batmobile thay should add that color to it same time😅😂❤

Yeah, most games from that generation still look basically the same as brand new stuff tofay. Graphics haven't really progressed much in the last decade.

It's not that, game-companies are just so focused on making the game look as detailed and realistic as possible, they sacrifice style and any other forms of presentation.
For an example; you can compare Arkham Knight's characters-models to any Triple-AAA game that came after AK(including SQ:KTJL),
you would see that AK's characters-model and their textures are far less detailed and realistic than SQ:KTJL, but they are stylized.
You can see a similar effect by comparing games that have a strong art-direction/art-style vs games that are graphically realistic,
you would see that games that have a specific art-style, usually age way better.
Basically, the game-companies are wasting resources, time and effort by focusing areas that we cannot see or don't care about.

And that cowl detail is crazy, not to mention the damaged version looks amazing with the lighting effects on it.

I still can’t believe that Batman: Arkham Beyond was cancelled, but at least we got a version of the suit in Arkham Knight
Even sadder, there was gonna be an animated movie on Beyond, but thanks to stupid WB, we're not getting it...
I much prefer this version too given it's not armored and I like the "vein lights" that go across it. The only thing I would've preferred is no mouth plate.
True, I would've taken both that and also Arkham Origins too over that one Rocksteady game that came out many months ago tho' I'm not sure if I'd mentioned it anyday lol.

There were rumors and even leaked concept art of an animated Batman Beyond movie with an artstyle that takes inspiration from the Spider-Verse films. But WB being WB seems to have rejected the proposal. Imagine what could have been.

@@lordvonsteiner2452 WB isn't in a stable position economically already, but the Beyond IP has also not been very successful outside of DCAU show reception-wise. So they probably don't wanna take that risk.
The smooth fight scene transitions were absolutely brilliant! The way the suit glows is also superb.. thumbs up for the modders.

Yup. The problem is they really want to dive in full throttle with this "live games as service" crap so they can micro transaction everyone into bankruptcy.
A fully completed game were you get everything you buy at once would be glorious like in the olden days. Now? Expect more games like Kill the justice League. Especially since now they know how to piss off a fanbase.
Id rather have Batman Beyond Arkham game over a suicide squad game. That way it gives kevin a final performance as batman.

The AK modding community puts Rocksteady to shame these days.
This and that original design owlman skin are top tier arkham skin mods. All the work with this one is insane too, with the functioning gauntlet terminal, reactive LED’s and custom wing shapes.

The one thing I wish Rocksteady would add into this game is being able to use any Batmobile at any time. I don't care if we can't go into battle mode or not just fire the rockets from anywhere on the car I just want to be able to use any Batmobile whenever I want to use it
Listen, I love the normal Arkham Knight Batman Beyond Suit. It’s an awesome mix between realism and the armor style of the Arkhamverse. But goddamn this piece of eye candy makes me wish WB had something against their allergy to money!

It's a cool take on the Batman Beyond costume. Only complaint is that the emblem on the front and back isn't flush with the main suit.

That was the start of what I just said it's Batman's turn Arkhamverse Batman I remember what tells me about his character build up was he took on his rouge's gallery all in a single night and he's not only impenetrable physically but even mentally he even took down an entire militia army by himself at one who now died to a gunshot from none other than Harley frickin Quinn now let's be reminded how he took down low level street villains who he defeated multiple times with ease

EVERYTHING in this suit is just INCREDIBLE! The details, the cape, the design and it also looks like how Beyond suit would actually look like. The one we got in Vanilla is Bruce’s version(if you don’t know he whore it a little in the series), and this one is Terry’s suit
If only they had created a Batman Beyond game. I understand that the developers may not have anticipated Kevin Conroy's passing, but if they had known and handled it correctly, it could have been an incredible tribute. Imagine a game where we see Terry McGinnis fully take up the mantle, with Bruce Wayne guiding him one last time, voiced by Kevin. Such a game could have been a powerful conclusion to one of the most beloved gaming series, cementing its legacy while honoring the voice of Batman for a generation. It could have been one of the greatest finales in gaming history, both emotionally and in terms of gameplay, leaving a lasting impact on fans for years to come.
Me personally I would love a Batman beyond game which takes place after Arkham Knight where Bruce Wayne retired as Batman and have Terry McGuiness as the dark knight to defend neo Gotham from his rouge's gallery and explore an open world of a futuristic Gotham city having to build up his character and his villains even him discover he is Bruce's biological son

Sad how random people make mods to keep alive this game and WB gives us GK and SSKTJL, we really need a new Batman game
Because the games we WANT don't fit THEIR business models. They really want us micro transactions because in their minds that's a better business model for profit. They see China ringing up the money counters with it and they want a piece of that pie.
The problem is gaming companies like Rocksteady have forgotten that we in the U.S are in fact a different country than China and some of us actually enjoy owning things we buy.
I'd love it if Rocksteady said "nah, we prefer to make single player games because we respect and appreciate our fanbase". Sad thing is Rocksteady is a different company now than when it started when we got the Arkham games. Everyone who made those games magical have long since left the company from what I understand. Different administrations, different policies. New company. They might as well have changed their company's name.

I mean, couldn't WB just comb through all voice clips from Batman Beyond and DCAU and make a Batman Arkham Beyond with past Conroy as Old Bruce? Obviously you'd need another actor to sell the cut together dialogue such as maybe Agent Grayson from the concept art. Hell, make it a sequel to Arkham Knight's actual ending and have any interaction of Conroy be a side quest of the New Batman looking for him or something. There's potential and the fans would buy that so quickly especially if it's like City and Knight. A decade old and still leagues better than Batman within the last 5 years.
