Get your timeline straight. It's gonna be Julius Belmont... although since this takes place I assume after 1999 it's either a Dracula ghost or just a different timeline altogether.
I hope it’s someone like Simon or Richter but for some reason I get the feeling it’s gonna be Soma Cruz. Konami can be very weird with their IP
@@notachainlinkfence480 I mean Simon was just in Brawlhalla, V Rising, and Smash not too long ago so I'd say it's more than likely going to be him or another one of the Belmonts. And Soma Cruz wouldn't really work from a lore standpoint since Soma Cruz [SPOILER ALERT IF YOU DONT KNOW FOR SOME REASON] is the reincarnation of Dracula so having both Dracula and Soma would be weird

im pretty sure it will be simon belmont, as they said "iconic duo". simon is most associated with dracula, having fought him two times.
alucard would be cool as well, but he is more connected to richter.
trevor might be in if they focus on the TV show, but i dont think so.

With Vecna coming to the game they also introduced this new lore device called the “Mark of Negation.” This is a seal the Entity places on characters who would be too powerful for the trials to nerf them, such as Vecna who would wipe the floor with anybody in the entity’s realm. I bring this up because this mark could justify having Simon and Richter Belmont as the survivors without it being questionable.
To be fair they need to go back and place the mark on a lot of the other killers and a few survivors too

On one hand, i love castlevania and seeing more of it is always lovely. On the other hand, i cant bare to see one of the most powerful beings in gaming history get stunned by a wooden pallet...
that's sometimes how i feel about nemesis being stunned and not just shrugging it off, but it's nicer for the characters you like to be there and a little goofy than not there at all imo
Well to be fair, in the lore, the entity weakens some of the killers so they will suffer more (which will feed the entity and keep giving it more power to take more killers and survivors)
@@JerryisntthecodgodI heard the more powerful killers like pinhead and pyramid head just invade the entity's realm because they have their own reasons, heck; either of these two could probably kill the entity if they want to. They just wanna hang out. So Drac's not gonna be an exception for one of the exceptionally powerful dudes just appearing.

The year 9 roadmap lists which chapters are coming with a map. Im sorry to say Castlevania will not be one of them.
For now it wont, but it could come in the future.

@@SoulZERO15 Some of the written works are under public domain. However when you make a movie with a unique look you get that distinct look to you. Think Disney's Pinnochio.
In that, the classic looks that people associate with Dracula is very much owned by Universal. Heck if you wanted to make a universal dracula then one that also looked like Bram Stroker's(the movie version), then the one like from Renfield. You would need three separate IP pay outs for those specific looks.

Was hoping for Universal Monsters’ Dracula to be a vampire killer, but this Dracula is acceptable too.
Either would have been great, but this is also another big recognition to video game horror, just like Silent Hill and Resident Evil were
BHVR have said in recent interviews that if theyd ever cover characters like werewolves or Frankenstein theyd do it in their own way rather than universal
