Fished there yesterday before I saw this vid and had a similar experience. Did hook a bigger one on stiff-hinge but it threw the hook. A lovely little shallow silty lake but I have my doubts about the monsters.
I love this venue, fished it many times with my son. Always stunning fish. I’ve had a few doubles on New Lake. Would totally recommend. child friendly

there is plenty 20s to be had!!! with brickyard it’s stocked with loads of smaller fish but actually has some mega big fish
