Major Lesson: It doesn't always make sense to take everyone with you. SF didn't have to take all the artists. (Most, if not all of the other artists aren't even known, Let alone on Flip level) Sounds like he was trying put everyone on other than the ones needing to be put on.

Producers were work for hire? naw the upfront money was what is considered a licensing fee for the beat today, agreeging to give him half of yourpublishing on the back end is crazy. thats why getting things in writing and having an agreement written up is important. based on how they used to play it back in the days especially..you cant treat the producer like a session musician
