For Earth Day 2024, we sat down with Professor Cameron Hepburn, Director of the Oxford Martin Programme on the Future of Plastics and Battcock Professor of Environmental Economics at the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment, to briefly discuss the future of plastics. In this interview, Cameron discusses their significance in society and echoes findings from a recent paper published in Nature, calling for a sustainable circular plastics economy.
