If you use colored sugar, small transfers or sparkles to decorate,I have a money saving hack I always use. I get plenty of all the colors I use to decorate every time I make Royal frosting. After I have used as much as I need to do my cookies I pipe out any transfers I might use in future such as yellow stars, small hearts, carrots, holly leaves, small dots or eyes on plastic sheets. I use clean baggie that can zip seal, or a clean plastic sheets protector I use in binders. If you need a pattern I can usually find them searching coloring pages images on Google. Then print out a sheet of very small images and place under the plastic sheet. I have even used small plastic food bags as the piping sheet, if there is only a little amount of left over icing. Then I let it dry overnight or until very hard. Then harden icing transfers will peel off very easy. I store the transfers in a food save baggie or small craft jar that has a lid that seals. I write the date on outside of the bag and store with my cookie decorating stuff. The other thing I do is the same process except I will open up the disposable piping bag, that has the left over icing, if there is lots of icing left in the piping bag, just scrape it so the layer is not very thick, usually I have only the icing that remains attached to the empty bag. Once the baggie is opened up so I can lay it flat, I let them sit over night or until very dried out. Then I crush the open bag sheet over a paper plate or parchment paper. I fold the sheet or paper plate in half making it easier to funnel the crushed sugar into a zip sealing baggie that is pre marked with date. Then lay the baggie flat to finely crush by rolling over the icing with a rolling pin or round glass getting it to a fine texture or a texture I want or might use. This gives me many shades of sugar to use to dust future cookies. I have even add a touch of edible glitter to the bag before crushing which gives a very nice sparkle. If you do a lot of cookie decorating you will have many little zipped baggies that easily store lying flat. I actually sort them by shades so it’s easier to find the right color sugar later when I decorate. This is so easy to do after decorating cookies and saves me money and time later by using pre made transfers.
Wonderful artistry. But, I find the little comments that pop up on screen very annoying. We know it's cute, we're going to watch until the end. There is no need to convince us!
@@Sweetambs I don't mind it! Got to have a CTA 🤷🏾♀️ I guess for some it can be distracting but truthfully it's not that often. My only critique as a detailed person is when you asked me to rate the cookies I'm like oh no what number cookie is this 😂😂😂 they're all 10 anyway

I have to agree. It takes away from watching the decorating. It's pulling my eyes to the words instead of the beautiful artistry.
It's not bothering me, never even noticed.
@@Sweetambsthis is your channel you do as you please.
