You are so welcome, Brenda! I hope you can follow along and that the tutorial portion makes sense! Using two different colored cardstock pieces made it visually more followable I hope.
Thanks for watching and commenting, Michele! I know a lot of people were frustrated with the speed of the Reel so hopefully this is transferable to a memory planner for those who are more interested in that.
Hi Suzanna. This is such a fun layout! I’ve made waterfall cards, but not a layout. What a great idea. Are you putting it in a page protector, or adhering it on top? Thank you for the fun idea. 😊
LOL. That is something I would (have done) do. I am ALWAYS doing things back to front or upside down. I think that is why I don’t bother with cards anymore. I love the layout, though. ❤
Hi Suzanna. I was having trouble with my connection and my comment actually relates to a different video. I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean to suggest that you do things the wrong way round. ❤
Hi, just found you on U Tube and love you style!!!!❤ Wondering if the reverse waterfall works if you turn it sideways on a page. I have several 4x6 vertical pics that I really don’t want to cut down much.
Cool reverse waterfall, Suzanna! I love the effect. I used a waterfall element kind of like that on a greeting card or 2 in my time, but I don't think I've ever done one on a scrapbook layout. Though I have done flip book type elements. Would you cut the page protector at all to allow the waterfall to be accessed without having to remove the layout from the album? When I've done flip books, I've either cut a slit in the page protector for each photo "flap" to slide through and then fed the pages through their respective slits (laborious & takes a ton of thought & concentration, but it does work in the end), or just cut into the page protector on the left, right, & bottom sides around the flip book, to create a flap. Whichever way I've done it, I always punch a hole at each corner before cutting, so the page protector doesn't tear at those spots over time. Either way works so anyone looking doesn't have to remove the page to access the photos (or whatever might be on the flip book pages). Yeah, I'm That Girl who has to do things the hard way! LOL Anyway, thank you for sharing. I think my favorite photo you showed is the one of the kid standing on your(?) back. I think it's the last one in the waterfall. Just too funny! I hope y'all are doing well. I assume Mia is in her senior year still? Hope she's having fun with that. Take care, & have a wonderful day! :)
My plan for this in the album is to cut the long/outside edge of the page protector so that the whole page slides in and out of it. With the weight of the waterfall, you need something to support that weight when flipping through the pages. My friend Junell who used my tutorial to create the same thing cut a rectangle in the page protector around her waterfall. I am going to have to experiment and see what works best. But I'm with you, I'm THAT girl too. Nothing is done the easy way! LOL! That's Mia, with the kid standing on her back, doing goat yoga! LOL! That's a thing now, going to a barn/farm and doing yoga while the goats walk all over you. Yup, senior year for Mia. Come August, I will have an empty house...
YAY, i'm so glad you made this waterfall tutorial on YT. Thank you!
Super fun way to add multiple photos.thanks for sharing! 😊
I love this and definitely going to do this.. thanks for sharing ❤

I love the waterfall. Used a few times. Great way to get more photos and embellishments.
Great page! Saving this one until later so I can watch again and make the waterfall with you.
Great video Suzanna, you are killing these interactive projects x
Thanks my friend! You know me, I love dreaming up something different!
Great idea and tutorial. Thank you for sharing the process.

Thank you for this tutorial!! I'm going to give it a try
Thanks for this video! I’ve wanted to make one of these and your instructions are nice and clear. 😊
Glad it was helpful! I'm a bit obsessed, this might be my third or fourth in a short time frame! LOL!
This is awesome! I may have to try it! ❤❤
Excellent tutorial!
Love it!! Great tutorial

Thank you, Gail! Cards are WAY outside of my comfort zone but it's more because I don't create them on a regular basis anymore.

You're welcome 😊 MUCH easier to follow than the lightening speed Reel!
SO FUN!@
