Hongjoong is my ultimate bias. I don't think he gets enough credit for his vocals. He has covered Jongho's vocals and Mingi's raps when they were on hiatus. He plays piano and guitar. He writes all his own raps, composes and produces. Yeosang and Seonghwa are in my bias line.
He's kinda underrated tbh. He's one of those few idols whom you call a complete ideal artist.( I'm a Carat btw but Hongjoong is truly one of those idols that you can't ignore ).
Oh you are gonna have so much fun at their concert! I seen them during their 2022 tour in Phoenix and just went to the Phoenix stop on 7/25 and it was AMAZING!
So funny you referred to San as a “Dorito” because we ATINY have been calling him that for a while now😂 His muscles are most definitely NOT just for show, he is one of the strongest members and dare I say the member with the highest energy/stamina because of his commitment to training his body, specifically to endure the demands of their exhausting and intricate choreo (he said so himself). Also because he just likes how he looks with more muscle. He was very thin and slight at debut so his confidence wasn’t as strong, but you see him now and it’s a testament to hard work and never giving up. Don’t take it as cocky though, he is a humble, kind, and caring soul with a heart of gold who puts people first. Truly one of a kind!💖(and yes, he is in my bias line, although not my Ult- that title goes to his bff and soulmate Wooyoung😉) Welcome aboard the ship! Have a great time at the concert!!❤️🔥🎉🏴☠️
It’s funny how you said he’s not muscley for show but then you followed up with “ plus he just does it for looks” lol but you’re so right. I honestly don’t know how skinny idols do it.!
You are going to enjoy the concert so much. I will be in Duluth on Wednesday too for it. It will be my 2nd Ateez concert. They are just amazing live. You are going to love it.
mingi is my bias and i could write a whole 5 page essay on why but the guide forgot to mention how he is the most scaredy cat member of the group and also seonghwa has a obsession with animal crossing, legos, and star wars and yunho loves spiderman and harry potter 🥰 please do check out tunnel by mingi!
Thank you for this reaction and for giving props to the Atiny for her hard work ❤ Jongho is the strongest member in Ateez. He usually chooses more, errm, modest styling and so we Atinys don't get to see how built he really is (except for one recent pool photo he shared, revealing bare (gasp!) arms.) My best guess is that he is actually being very considerate of Atiny's collective sanity & propriety (or whatever's left of it) 😂. Thank you Jongho! You do you! I rmbr an old casual fun interview from early 2020 and San said smthg to the effect that if there's a member's body part that he envies?would like to have?, it'd be Jongho's chest muscles. This was back before San started actively working out to achieve his body goals. (Ref: jenga interview during Answer era, iirc) This ahjummatiny is rambling, sorry! You'll have the best concert experience I'm sure. 🎉🎉🎉
Literally just saw them in concert last night and it was INSANE, truly one of the best nights of my life and an absolutely amazing concert. Ateez are true performers fr fr
This guide is so good. Thank you for reacting to it and taking the time to watch it. For me I severely struggle to pick a bias. I love each member so much and each member for individual reasons. So many reasons in fact that I cant pick one reason over another...so I choose OT8. Who knows ...maybe one day one of them will solidify the "bias" spot for me. For now though ..and for the past 4 years I haven't been able to choose 🤷🏻♀
Aw yay! I am so happy you checked out a guide on Ateez! I have been an Atiny for two years now, Guerilla was my introduction to them too 🤭. I just genuinely love them so much and love you as a yt creator so seeing you react to them and watching your Atiny journey is the best 💗. I hope you have so much fun seeing them live ! I am seeing them live as well next week when they come to Toronto! I'm not ready lol!
I saw them in Arlington and I'm still in AWE. They are absolutely incredible. And I had send off and can tell you they are beautiful, sweet, loving souls too and they work SO HARD. Have fun, if I could go I'd look for you! It's so fun meeting other fans For me its hard to choose a bias bc I have an interest in all of it equally, dance, vocals, raps, expressions, etc. So in ATEEZ's case, I'm ot8 because theyre all SO good. Exceptional at their "specialty" (Hongjoong rapper, Jongho vocal, etc), but also very good at ALL of the rest too
I hope you can check out a TXT guide one day too ♡ there's a really amazing guide that was just uploaded by the channel 'beomie bear' (it's honestly probably one of the best guide videos I've seen). The guide is very long but the creator has thankfully uploaded it not only as one long video but also as a playlist of six shorter videos that break up the long guide into parts.

Apparently back when Yeosang and Wooyoung were at Bighit, if they didn't leave for KQ, Wooyoung would have had a big chance of being apart of TXT. Not sure for Yeosang really
Well BTS kinda started the wave of groups doing their own thing, followed by Seventeen, which both groups heavily inspired 4th gen groups afterwards (companies realized that their idols themselves could generate their own things and might resonate more with fans) As for another group that is actually a year okder than BTS and eventually found their own voice/style, BTOB is definitely in there too While they started very « kpop » they eventually utilized more the talent of the members themselves without forcing them into a mold and led to a much wider success and a very unique sound to them Of course even before BTS you had people like GDragon and Taeyang of BigBang or Jonghyung of Shinee already producing their own solo stuff which helped pave way for many artists afterwards It also goes back to a time when idols were products « produced » in almost their entirety aside from badic skills. Most were chosen back then basically for their looks and molded into something presentable, but a few companies eventually started looking outside of the mold and BigHit was definitely such a company As for storylines; that started with BTS, then some 4th gen groups were also pushed towards it because it engaged the ARMY fandom so much (i mean people wrote theses on their fictional storyline) that companies saw it as a new opportunity Same goes for member made characters. LINE, a korean social media company, enlisted BTS’ help in 2017 after their surprising rise in the US to create characters for stickers to use in chat (which has since branched out much like Mickey Mouse with a variety if goods) They worked on the design together and eventually came up with BT21 which are now pretty much staple characters as a whole regardless of their involvement with BTS or not. And what company afterwards would say no to a lucrative IP right? So more and more newer groups have also been creating characters for goods and all

Love this!! I’m new to Ateez since early this year and my ult bias is San. He is the father of the demon line and the first to really embody and use emotionally expressive acting in their performances which is why his fancams went viral so many times. Although he was made fun of for things like rolling his eyes back or making “demonic” faces its part of how they were able to gain success early on and now it’s a trademark of Ateez. His voice is so beautiful and he is a talented vocalist but I feel it’s underrated since many Atiny and non-fans focus more on his powerful performance and on his built body/visuals. He’s a very skilled technical dancer who worked hard to build his dance ability and what elevates it is the performance since dancing is rly about expressing something to me. his “facecams” are also great because of the variety of facial expressions he makes. I suggest his Halazia fancam and his Inception fancam for two diff eras / time periods to see his performance better! I also love him because of his duality and how gentle and kind he is outside of his stage persona. My other biases are Wooyoung and Seongwha but I already ranted a lot so I won’t keep going lol. Enjoy getting into Ateez ✨
i feel like people/fans take the whole bias thing way to negatively in kpop lately , it bothers me so much. I don't do the whole bias thing anymore. i am just a regular fan of the artist and their music with basic respect for every member of the group. the bias/favorite member thing and being rude to the other members just cause they aren't ur "bias" has become ew. & let's not forget all that we "know" of them and their image are completely fake/trained images. sure we have those idols that we can tell we see a bit more of their real selves but again 90% of what we think we know is all fake/trained to fit that picture-perfect annoying image. ateez might be the last group where I do have a bias in (mingi) but in no mean does that mean he's my favorite member or I don't like the other members.
It's actually hilarious how NON-athletic San is. xD His muscles are nice but mostly for the show, as for any kind of a sports game he is usually one of the worst performers! Their strength/stamina levels are really not easy to guess member to member!
