They’re running better each week and controlled the clock and had a balance offense against a pretty solid defense.
It was more successful than you the numbers appear, half their attempts to RBs were inside the 10 yard line and they got 3 rush TDs, including the game winner in overtime doing it. It wasn't an elite day on the ground but they ran effectively when they needed to. Your Y/C will be low when half your rush attempts are from inside the 5, you can't rush for 6 yards from the 3 yard line.

Baylor in 2nd half had 23 offensive plays with fifteen to twenty seconds left on play clock before snapping ball if you added all those seconds it's over five minutes they could've run off game clock minimizing number of possessions in 2nd half this gave Colorado two extra possessions to score by not running play clock in 2nd half of offensive possession. A high school coach could have done better job of clock management.

Colorado's run game was actually pretty effective, their stats are misleading because of the sacks and how many attempts were on the goal line, but they punched it in 3 times from inside the 5 with designed runs. It isn't an elite run game, but it is serviceable and all this offense needs to be explosive and extend drives. CU's offensive woes were from poor pass pro, drops by Sheppard and Wester, and Sheduer uncharacteristically missing some guys. All and all, 400+ yards and 31 points in regulation on a rainy night isn't bad, they just need to learn to cover kicks and their DBs need to catch the INTs that hit their hands and they beat Baylor by 21 points. This team is still sloppy, but talented enough to compete for the B12 title if they ever clean it up.

Colorado ran the ball 42 times. They didn't run it very SUCCESSFULLY, but by doing that, they kept Baylor's defense honest.

Colorado's run game was actually pretty effective, their stats are misleading because of the sacks and how many attempts were on the goal line, but they punched it in 3 times from inside the 5 with designed runs. It isn't an elite run game, but it is serviceable and all this offense needs to be explosive and extend drives. CU's offensive woes were from poor pass pro, drops by Sheppard and Wester, and Sheduer uncharacteristically missing some guys. All and all, 400+ yards and 31 points in regulation on a rainy night isn't bad, they just need to learn to cover kicks and their DBs need to catch the INTs that hit their hands and they beat Baylor by 21 points. This team is still sloppy, but talented enough to compete for the B12 title if they ever clean it up.
They are not the best team but they are the most entertaining team to watch
