I just can’t get over how pretty 56X’s new paint job is. Just so sharp!
Agreed! I was fortunate enough to see it at OSH24 this summer revealed at the AOPA exhibit! 🤩 😮
Hearing the Riddle callsigns really brought back memories of my time there. Beautiful country and great job showcasing it!
It's fun to see you flying over my "neck of the woods" of Flagstaff and Mormon lake, Winslow. Looking forward to the cool, smooth winter flying again. My old 145hp C172 likes the cooler weather up here when the DA is below the field elevation of 7K at FLG. Beautiful cinematography!
I have loved your aviation ventures for several years
Haven’t been flying for sometime now and you guys just brought back the feeling alive through your contents! Safe skies for you both!
Three wheel pants never looked sooooooooooooooooo good. Your 150 is truly a thing of beauty !
Some of the best content on UA-cam! So well done!!
Good morning from Minnesota! Great episode!
That Cessna 150 motor has a nice purr to it. Pretty flight guys.
What an incredible journey. What makes it more incredible, is that I’ve flown both aircraft that you and your wife are traveling in. I know the capabilities, limitations, and Flight characteristics. I say it is truly impressive to not only plan but to execute those flights. You and your wife are an inspiration to pilots everywhere. Continue to journey.
Love the scenery on this video. Can hardly wait to see the video of the wedding. ❤
Every video I watch is basically a professional cinematic. Great job to everyone involved. 👏👏
How awesome that you can do a cross flight of two like that with your person! “….alright babe see you there!” Coolest words that ever came through your headset. Looking forward to your next Sedona trip. I can’t wait to greet and provide ground transportation for Mr and Mrs Aviation 101….or will it be Mr and Mrs High Maintenance Chels?
Gorgeous views! I like how Chelsea's plane's tail beacon lights up the ground.
I hate to be “that guy” but since no one else has mentioned it yet, the meteor that made the crater was less than half a football field in diameter. To me, it makes the size of the crater even more impressive knowing how small the meteor was that created it.
Also, it looks like it almost hit the visitor's center. Very lucky there. 😉
I love central northern Arizona. Good video. Thanks for sharing.
Dude. Epic work. Learned to fly in Scottsdale Arizona, now several years later, legacy carrier in Europe, still keeping my Single Engine rating to once go back out there in AZ and show my family the awesomeness.
Yet another TOP QUALITY vid. 👊
Some of the most beautiful scenery I've ever seen. I know you guys were wore out at the end of the day. Thanks for sharing.
Great commentary and videography.
Y’all live so close to me now every time I see a little plane fly over I wonder if it’s you and Chels! Maybe when I finally get to fly I’ll see you!
Lovely scenic flight. It's lucky the meteor didn't hit the visitor centre....
Thank you, Josh! Wonderful video, man! 😊
Great video. It looks like both of us are moving to Kentucky! We will be headed up in the next 5 months or less for my wife's medical job over in Paducah where I'll park my Beech Sierra. I'll have to listen on the radio for ya.
Fantastic, thankyou. Could I request FULL flight videos, from start to finish. It would be cool to fly vicariously through your experience.
It's a very quiet Saturday night. I was just working on 'catching up'. I was not smart enough to have 1 deep interest, no sir, I have 3. LOL I finished "Guitars//Building/Paying//Music/Writing/Recording" earlier, and it was on to Aviation. A quick stop at Juan's, See what Steveo was up to, what Max had gotten into, and Matt looks like something is up? I really enjoyed Josh and Chelsea's flight here, probably more than they did making it! LOL Where do you set it down if you have to, but even worse, for me anyway, if my soul mate had to set it down and I didn't!! I'll have to think about that now till next time!! Great video guys! Peace --gary
Amazing views guys.....Chelse is wicked smart for follow I-40! Enjoyed as per usual...AQP for GA ! PS...the Coyotes were a nice finishing touch....they walk up the streets in Olathe, KS like they OWN the neighborhood! (Please ask, is there anyone else in the pattern, establish communicate if so and agree to who is doing what..avoid the high-wing, low wing mid-air on a CAVU day!) Lol
Read AIM 4-1-9, asking if anyone in the pattern is not correct procedure
Beautiful flight. It's been many years since my licence was current. I had the UK and US pilots licence but only ever did 3 hours in the US in the pattern over Niagara falls and down lake Erie in a twin. I love how general aviation is so easy in the US without extortionate landing fees and high Avgas prices.
I just did this drive from the SF Bay Area to Knoxville I stayed in Williams and did Route 66 as much as I could but 40 was the go to road.Very Cool!
So cool to see where I do all my flying lessons in one of these videos. I love flying in central Arizona.
Thank both of you for showing the beauty of this earth. God's blessings to both of you.
is there another "earth"?
Your videos never fails to disappoint. What a fantastic piece of art! 😍
Love the 150 update
7:39 nice view of Kirtland AFB!
Been there TDY multiple times. Cool place to visit, but definitely wouldn’t want to live there. ABQ is not the safest area in the world lol.
I love watching both of you doing take-offs and landings. The scenery was spectacular as well. What happened to your kitten?
Great production
Just remember, you are engaged. It's not "High Maintenance C" It's now "Her Majesty C"
Just spectacular from start to finish👌
Great job as always.
Great looking flight, I live in Northern Az Airport KPAN (Payson) nice little airport, if ever needed it. Very nice looking C-150, I learned and got PPL 1973, unfortunately lost medical many yrs later. I have always loved C-150’s. Thanks sharing trip in both planes.
I lost my medical too, rightfully so.
What, you didn’t stand on a corner in Winslow Arizona, for such a fine sight to see? (Apologies to The Eagles)
Seriously folks, like we talked about in Oshkosh, if your cinematography hasn’t caught the eyes of Hollywood, it surely must do so soon. This was spectacular. Thank you for this.
Super cool crater near Winslow I flew over it for my first solo cross country
The OG IFR: I Follow Roads (or Railroads).
Looking forward to the Cockpit Tour...
Great job, Josh! I have to ask, who were the musical artists you were using?
Thank you 🙏
Great vid welcome home!!
Awesome watch!
I had forgotten about the Meteorite landing site. Wow imagine it happening!
Question, do Chelsea's new LED nav lights also have white anti collision lights in the unit too?
I see she flies with the Navs on. Can do with LED's.
I couldn't see them flashing in shots of her plane.
Her LED Landing Light is super bright!
Listening to Chelsea on radio made me wonder if you should try and get a new N rego for her plane ending in Charlie. C for Chelsea!
Best from me way Down Under in Middle Earth!
Hi Josh, love your videos and I was wondering, where do you get the music you use for your videos? Take care and safe flights
are you going to do some instructing while staying in louisville? I would love to finish my IFR rating with you!
10/10 man keep it up
Love your videos
Top quality!
POV you see Josh posted :) but you are subscribed to cockpit club so you already have seen it :( Still loved the video guys!
I see you had to fly through Prescott practice areas/ERAU Prescott, did you plan for heavy traffic in that area? Just curious!
You need to put the same yoke wheels in Chelsea's airplane
Try a collab where you ride in or borrow a Risen 912 or 915. Close to twice the speed of a cessna 150, half the fuel burn and running mogas that's half price. And it has a parachute.
Alternatively a Phoenix U15 or a bit less amazing but far more common VL-3. A Shark in a pinch. You don't have to buy it, just try it.
Hey Josh, why doesnt 991 have wheel pants? Alot better for cross country.
Please Please Please put the wheel pants on the Skyhawks
Is this from last winter?
What did your panel cost??
Does this weather mean your videos are around 8 months behind real time?
Always the bad luck with the head-winds for some odd reason
Carb heat on does not make sense to me for Josh's landing into New Mexico anyone care to explain.
G,day Josh from Sydney Australia. Has Chelsea got the real estate for a JPI engine monitor in the buck fifty?
Q1. Can you hose clamp the sensor probes on the exhaust and cylinder heads?
I'll stay out of your cockpit club. I've got "other fish to fry."
🥩🍯
Little bit of hyperbole in describing the meteor that made Meteor Crater. The estimated size was only 100 - 170 feet in diameter. A meteor of the size you described would evaporate a city the size of New York and leave behind a crater 3 - 7 miles in diameter (depending on what the meteor's make up is). The crater in Arizona is only 0.75 miles in diameter.
The ejecta from a meteor "4 football stadiums" in size would destroy most of Newark, NJ and the island of Manhattan. It would create a significant cooling period where you'd experience at least 2 years of freezing cold almost year round.
So, while the meteor crater in Arizona is remarkable, it wasn't created how you described it.
if a rock the size of that Crater hit Earth you wouldn't be there.
I love your content but I question whether you should not have flown beside your girl.
Why?
Aviation 101 is my fave channel, BTW this account was made today so it says I've only watched this one.
likes here :)
6th!
I cant get through this vocal fry
First!
