nice to watch how you set everything up, been playing the game for 11,000+ hours and still learning something new every time lol, keep up the great work, loving the series.
Glad I found this series. Your engineering is really inspiring! I need to learn more about the event controller. It's an untapped goldmine really. Just like the drone blocks, it kinda faded away from existance when I play lol. Love the idea of solving most of the problems vanilla.
You remind me of Etho from Minecraft, very detailed work with great attention to how and why you build things. I truly admire the dedication that's made to make sure the content is quality, but also entertaining, inspirational for sure!
If you have issues with the hinge pieces traveling at the speed of klang when grinding you could shut off tool shake in settings. I've had more pieces make it to space because of grinders than thrusters 😂... I also added the vanilla plus mod to increase the grind area slightly for those small blocks that linger. Great videos though. Binged the series when I found your channel last week
I found this series yesterday and have binge watched through. Great to watch. like the scada systems that you have that is very cool, and a nice alternative to scripts. look forward to the next
7:17 Damn. It's so cool when you watch a UA-cam video, and at some point, you realize that youtuber talking specifically about you, and specifically about your offer) I'm proud of you, and that you're trying to get used to using a lot of tabs on the hotbar. I think when you get used to it it will become very convenient))
@@EngineeredCoffee What you've done with timers and robot manufacturing is really cool. It's a pity you can't protect this as a project in robotics classes (Although it will be in a higher course (I'm studying to be an automation engineer)) . I don't think the teachers will understand))
Wow. This is the best content out there and that is saying something. It may seem like a small thing, but seeing how you approach a problem has been very helpful to my game. Thanks
I love these videos, really. It's really tempting me to get back into space engineers and design a super capital ship again. I'm really tempted to see if I can take the HEMMT design and transpose it onto a large grid. I don't think we have large-grid modular cargo blocks, but I'm fairly certain putting large grid 3x3 cargo blocks together wouldn't be that bad of a compromise.
I have a script written for the bridge crane logic. I trued recording it this week and was not happy with how it turned out. I will try again, so hopefully soon.
Glad to see you could use the shortcut! Did you have the batteries on the drone set to recharge in the blueprint? If not that could be something to remember - that way they can gain a bit of initial charge while manufacturing.
Yeah, the next episode I plan to tackle all those things like batteries recharge, thrusters off, etc. I rushed the prototype for sure, but was excited for the factory more than the drone 😉
56:00 (On why the one hinge welder looks a little bit off from the other one, even though they have the same angles) On one welding arm, you put spacers between the hinges. On the other one, you did not. You can see it is clearly at marker 56:00. That's why one angle seemed to be off even though they had the same numbers. They're set at a different height. 🧐🤔😳😅
Nope, I saw right after that that the other one has the same spacer, so I have no idea. And it won't let me delete my comment because UA-cam is stupid! 😱🤬
I like to think that your factory used to build tardigrades and now they’ve changed to building turret drones in response to ASSERT. Maybe keep one of the bays open for still building tardigrades?
It would be cool if you could make multiple stations around your base that have defence blocks to detect enemies away from ur base and then also have a signal relay on the outposts to send or request drones to approach the signalled station, I do have a YT video on the concept on my channel but it's a basic idk of it
Well I need to move it after I disconnect the merge block so it would fight the crane. I will probably do a timer when the connector is attached to its pad.
You could have flipped the bridge windows 180 so they were "upside down" from where you had them the first time? Also, I don't remember - did you add ammo to the storage array? ALSO also, I do believe that's a new Mars Record for the Block Toss Event.
@@EngineeredCoffee Commenting as I watch - the trash chute grinders might work better if you drop them down one block, so the blades are level with the bottom of the corner block lower edge. That way you're less likely to have the hinge parts hit the grinder block base itself rather than the blades area? Might also reduce the bounce effect too, since the parts will be in the grinder area longer before physics kicks in, and given they're small grid blocks they'll grind way faster.
Can you add AI into your tug ship so when you exit you can just tell it to go "home" so it will return and dock on its own? Just seems easier to me than wasting time trying to repark it.
A great end of a Sunday is to be able to see engineered cofee while dinning
wow that is amazing you are a true space engineer love seeing your inventions off the top of your head
I have never been this early ever for any video, shows how much I have been enjoying your content.
Awesome! Especially for my poor timing of a release when Splitsie is going live. 🤦
Best Build Videos for SE.
Great episode dude! Cheers for the shout!
I audibly VI-X'd when you quick loaded.
Sometimes Klang wins.
@@EngineeredCoffee Well I'm glad you're making sacrifices so the rest of us are fine.

I forgot about them early on too, scripts were easier and more depth. But this series has been a fun challenge.
i love how technical you are in the game, it's awesome!
You remind me of Etho from Minecraft, very detailed work with great attention to how and why you build things. I truly admire the dedication that's made to make sure the content is quality, but also entertaining, inspirational for sure!
I haven't watched their stuff, been a long time since I've touched Minecraft, but I appreciate that! Glad I am putting out a good balance.
@@EngineeredCoffeeIts a big compliment! etho is incredibly popular and smart

Well my cargo system tried to make it up there before me. 🤣
You had me at robot factory
I think i felt my brain expanding a bit putting that auto welding together.

@sverhrazum4935 well, school was about 15 years ago for me, otherwise I'd give it a shot!
@@EngineeredCoffee I'm not at school. I am at the university (Bachelor's degree)
It's just a small thing I hadn't thought about, but the label over an inset light design is so sleek and compact!
Been waiting for this!
Me too! 😉 I thought I was going to get to the factory by episode 15, so much for that idea.
Wow. This is the best content out there and that is saying something. It may seem like a small thing, but seeing how you approach a problem has been very helpful to my game. Thanks
I'm glad you're enjoying the series! I am working on a programming tutorial, but haven't been happy with the script, so it's a little delayed.
A hour?!?!🎉 What a treat ❤
This is going to be so satisfying to watch - can't wait. I have started a new game to play around with your ideas. Thanks man!
So excited to see how this build progresses
Your videos are great. Always looking forward to your uploads :)
Nice video again. A little tip for you: shift+f5 will let you quicksave. But i really enjoyed the containercatapult.
I can't wait to see the tutorials on the automated factory and the warehouse
Insane, what an awesome design.
Thanks! It was fun to figure out.
Great episode! Keen to see the next one :)
Glad you enjoyed it!
I can't wait to have supergridding in Space Engineers 2!
Me too, the unified grid will be epic. I am excited for Thursday's news.

That would be pretty cool! If you do, I'd love to see what you come up with.
I feel like this is the way SE was meant to be played :)
I feel SE is just LEGO in space. Sometimes it's fun to just build, other times you want the complex Technic stuff.
Top tier video as always.
Would you be willing to put together a few videos on how your automation logic works? I know that's a big ask.
I have a script written for the bridge crane logic. I trued recording it this week and was not happy with how it turned out. I will try again, so hopefully soon.
Glad to see you could use the shortcut!

Also, thank you for the shortcut, helped a lot. Especially with all the iterations of the prototype.
Maybe you try and do a factory that makes drones that use vector-thrust of some kind!
Should put a sensor in the grinder pit incase someone falls. The grinders should turn of and the door should open to let the victim out.
Hole is too small, but otherwise I would. That's actually why I put the door in, I couldn't access the stuck parts.
I havent watched yet, but your builds have me in aww, Iwant to recreate your gantry crane!
Haven't read you comment yet, but thanks 😉

No worries. Probably just not very precise on the physics.

That's a great idea, I need to rebuild one anyway.
Ok so the reason the cargo block was sent to hell when reattaching the second rotor was because rotor were locked.
Ahh, I thought it was the block conflicts. But I guess the rebuild defaulted to no lock. Good to know!
It would be cool if you could make multiple stations around your base that have defence blocks to detect enemies away from ur base and then also have a signal relay on the outposts to send or request drones to approach the signalled station, I do have a YT video on the concept on my channel but it's a basic idk of it
I watched your vid a while back, I will give it a rewatch!
Maybe see if there's still space for an event controller that turns on the Gyro etc. as soon as the merge block used for the build is disconnected

I did not add ammo, good catch. I will try the flipped window, good idea

sloped bay windows... upside down?
Someone else suggested that too. I will give it a look.
You can probably get away with doubling all speeds
I was thinking that this morning. I did my testing with one arm and was like that's good. Now with two, I didn't speed it up 🤦
@@EngineeredCoffee yea just the fact that you had to speed up the footage is saying that its to slow
