Charles, u are truly a collector and this video u showing is truly a great one. First the black and white photos of BL alone or from filming ETD and then second showing old newspaper clipping from not only the movies in 73-78 but also showing where it was playing and I seeing in one clipping RKO Fordham in the Bronx and I remember going to that theaters each time to either seeing KF movies or action films and I thank u for shouting out RKO Coliseum cuz that was all near my house until it got burned and made it a multiplex. @ Charles so much for your reply. I have one question about ETD and hope u can clarify it to me. When u went to see ETD when it first opened in Chinatown NYC when BL was fighting O’Hara and when OH was breaking the glass and BL jumped on top of him to kill him did u see BL feet crushing OH chest then u see BL yelling and after u hear Han saying O’Hara treachery has disgraced us. The reason I asked about that scene cuz a person who say seen it in the 70’s as an adult told me about that scene and wonder was it was a lie and since u are the collector u can tell me about that scene.

Excellent pics! I worked with Yuen Wah in Shang-Chi as an extra. Wished I talked to him but not allowed as I was working unless he came up to me. I did pick up Hong Kong lots of Japanese programs and flyers.Raymond Chow got the call Betty that Bruce was unconscious. Raymond said wait till I get to her apartment. 30min had passed. Why not call the ambulance? When the ambulance arrived they brought Bruce back to life for 1 min by injection of adrenaline into the heart. But arrival at the hospital it was too late. Saw this at the Bruce Lee Hong Kong exhibition which screened a new documentary on his life and death in Hong Kong. 😥I did walk out crying as the ending had multiple flash back pics of Bruce's life til end. Real shame it's not released

Great video Charles as always. I have a few newspaper clipping myself and I have all of them black and white photos but I don't think all of them with the writing at the bottom. You make me feel like going through my whole collection to check. Here is a small fact that you might not know. I'm sure you do know, Bruce Lee films were sometimes edited over here in England. Sometimes butchered especially when it came to Lee's nunchakus. Can you imagine Way of the Dragon (Return of the Dragon) without the nunchakus in it 😬😡😱😱) it's happened to me. But here's what you might not know (and looking at your clipping makes me think you don't know) if you went to see Enter the Dragon and the classic poster outside showed Bruce with a short stick held up instead of a pair of nunchaku you knew the nunchakus were cut. I realised this after a few times watching ETD. Have you got any clipping with that picture of Lee with a stick instead of nunchaku. I'm sure I have. Love the t-shirt and I was hoping it was on sale somewhere. You got a cool mate that done that for you
@@ninjafeet7915 I did hear about the short stick on the movie posters from some of my UK friends mentioning that the noon trucks were cut out due to an X rating back in the day. Thanks for the reminder steve walling is my friend out of California that put that shirt out I can see if he still has a few available or if he can make one for you if you like you can email me at cdbrlee@aol.com your contact information and I will get back to you letting you know if he is still making them. You should definitely go through your photos and see which ones you have with the wording on them. they are more rare and most of them would be originals. Andrew the Bob Wall fight was breath taking! His speed was like nothing we have see before! Glad you enjoyed and thanks for commenting! Have a great weekend and see you Tuesdays for my new Bruce Lee short! Enjoy!
Hello no I don't have it complete would be interesting to collect them again my favorites from ETD are the dungeon scene where he presses for the elevator and all of a sudden guards come out of nowhere he fights them with his hands it took 40 years for me to realize he was doing the wing chun dummy moves you know what I mean the straight punch followed by parring and just punching like the way you practice on the wing chun dummy after all these years now I know what he was doing whereas before I thought it was Bruce lee magic you see what I mean phenomenal. As a result of Bruce's own creative mind, that scene was extremely innovative and brilliant in the early seventies. It was mind-boggling to see a scene like that and I still play it back to this day in my head or watch it on DVD. The Bob Wall fight that you described in the third part was another hot scene where he pak sau slapping the hand that was so good that why I fell in love with Bruce Lee that scene lives with me forever that's why I collect the books Chinese and American and Japanese. It was so fast that I practiced that scene in real life but hey you can't be good at everything also the moment he hit the the guards on the jail bars Robert Clouse did a zoom shot of Bruce and let the camera take in the moment of Bruce's concentration. A sophisticated audience becomes a group of gawking kids at a Saturday matinee thanks to the ad slicks LOVE BRUCE LEE and the first generation of kung fu movies
Who ever be the opponents and whatever be their might and freight only Bruce Lee wins in the compats. On looking at Bruce Lee's enraged eyes and terrible sound what he makes from his foot throat every opponent would get fumbled. This fact is evident perfectly in Bruce Lee's fight with Han's guards at the cave.
Thi Will said my friend and so true. The dungeon scene was one of the best all out fight scenes against multiple opponents ever recorded to film. Glad you enjoyed. See you on Friday for my new Bruce Lee episode. Enjoy and be well, my friend.

Thank you very much!! 🐉❤️👏👍

Thanks for sharing your experience with Yuen Wah! It's always amazing to hear personal stories related to Bruce Lee. Nice to meet you Henry! Continued enjoyment on the channel. Fun episode! Recently someone on Ebay had the complete ETD 99 promo photos with slugs ( i think) that originally belonged to an employee of Warner Bros. He was asking 3K which, I guess was "reasonable" but I just couldnt "pull the trigger." I actually thought you might have purchased it...Oh well...for me...another, of the many that "got away..."

Great stuff Charles! I used to have clippings of movies from the Daily News! A lot of martial arts and some horror back in the early 80’s. I have a few now in my collection. Also when ETD was rereleased in the early 2000’s. I used to go to a lot of theaters in Manhattan and the Bronx.

Glad you enjoyed the show. Thanks for commenting and see you on Tuesday for my new Bruce Lee short. Have a wonderful weekend, my friend and be well.
My favourite scene is the fight between lee and oharra, classic
Well said and thanks for sharing your thoughts! Continued enjoyment on the channel my friend!

Pray for LA
Vincent indeed. My son lives in LA but he is OK. See you Friday!
