Attractions like that (Mad House) usually work by spinning the wall mainly but the seats you sit on swing a bit too, to give you the feeling of motion.
This is like the old fashioned ride at traveling carnivals we saw in Glasgow on the greens. It was known then as the "Rib Tickler" Basically it was a wooden swing with bench seats, three or four facing each other, then the guy would would swing it by moving it back and forth "as a swing" once it got up to speed he would pull up a canopy, usually stripped red and white in the opposite direction of the swing thus the illusion of moving high up and you could not help yourself "falling" forward, usually out of your seat etc.good fun.
I went on this, i hate the ride at the end, it knocks me sick. The maze is annoying too, i'm there trying to feel my way through cause it's not nice when you bump into one of those..
Airgates - The Theme Park Place I haven’t been on the swing yet. Somebody once lied and told me the swing goes upside down. I later found out it doesn’t go upside down just the room and it is in fact an optical illusion like hex at alton towers.
this ride can be so scary when you are on your own. I half expected penny-wise to appear at some points

It is like a maze, but at the end, yes their is a ride, it just tips back, then forward, an it gives you the illusion your on the roof.
I love the swing its cool
+Declan Barnes It is certainly a unique experience Declan.
