What oil do you use to lubricate the bearings and crank before assembly just to use a bit of break-in oil on everything what would you recommend? I have tri flow. oil can I use it Will that work? I mean when you have brand new bearings in the motor should I put a break in oil on the bearings or is just a nitro fuel good enough any information you can give me I would kindly appreciate.
And yes. Helicopter fuel has oil in it. Run the heli at hover with the recommended needle setting. I tend to hover without the governor too. My normal mode never uses governor. Let it break in. Make sure it’s billowing smoke. Smoke means it’s lubed.
Heat the case to 350 again. Put the bearing in the freezer all night and put a drop of oil on outside of bearing before you drop it in. Use crank to pop it in.
Yes it was. Shitty Morgan Nitro turns into water in the motor and rusts the bearing. Run VP. That won’t happen. It has an additive to keep corrosion from happening as much.
@@CoeShow619 I run VP and honestly I’ve ran all fuels. the bearing on the video would look just like any mother bearing run for a about a season but that’s not what I’m referring to. I was talking about the piston and ring and possibly sleeve as not run as long as that bearing

I use Motul 800 synthetic 2 stroke oil. Just enough to get it wet. 😂

I followed your process to a ‘T’ but can’t get the crankshaft and bearing to push all the way into the case. Any tips?

Guy’s use some heat and oil this is a simple jod
There is no way that the piston and ring in this video was in that motor as long as that rear Bering. No way
