Yeah he pulled off He-man I liked him as He-man but as a kid I was disappointed that the movie was set on Earth instead of Eternia. It's grown on me over the years though.

Was on the fence with this figure until this review. Now I just ordered him off BBTS can't wait to get him and open him for my display! Awesome review as always Dan.
I love this figure, could be one of my favourites in my collection. The details are amazing and the likeness is incredible. Even though I know the movie isn't great I still love it and Dolph's version of He-Man will always be my favourite version. The only real problem I have is the cost because here in Sweden it cost me about $70 which is pretty high for someone who hasn't that much money like me. But still, it was worth it. I'm going to release my own video in it next week I think, if I have the time and energy after work to edit it. We'll see.
Your videos are fantastic and make me jealous that we don't have the same toy culture here in Sweden.
Also a figure I've wanted since I was a kid. I like how they're trying to work this look into the MOTUC new lore. I mean, they didn't have to, but they did, and its a nice touch. I do wish this one came with some alternate hands instead of an alternate head. Still a nice way to go out with this line, even though we couldn't get movie versions of the others.
I'm not always able to get these figures but it was a blessing that I was able to get these 4 movie figures. They turned out better than expected. Couldn't be happier. Great review, Dan.
My opinion on the movie has softened over the years. It had its problems, but it also had its own sort of charm. Golan/Globus being in charge of the production didn't help things, as they mostly made junkfood movies. Dolf Lungren was a great choice for He-Man, and his proclamation of "IIIIII HAAAAAAVE THE POWEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRR!!!!" gives me chills to this day.

Excellent review, as always! I hope Super7 gets a chance to come back to this property later. They could probably eke two or three more waves out of the movie characters.
I didnt collect this line but i always loved the packaging since 2008.. looks great. And they stuck with it for 12 years. Really great.

Like many others, I didn't like the movie when I was a kid, but have grown to like it as an adult.
These toys make you appreciate the character and costume designs that went into it.
Cloth capes at last! Also that alternate head looks like Harry Hamlin circa Clash of the Titans. Awesome review!

I just realized why I love Skeleton Warriors: Grimskull so much as a kid! He's straight up Skeletor meets movie He-Man!
I see a little of the Laser Power He-Man in the alternate head through the cheekbones.

Wish the cape was wired, and the body was made a bit different. Other than that, it looks cool; especially the armor.

Love the cloth cape and sculpting. My main issue is the daggers. They did not turn out well that they can't even be held in his hands.

My hope for the upcoming Masterverse figures is that we get a Beast Man that matches up well with this version of He-Man.
Great review. Great figure. I thought his boot knife was from the first fight scene in the movie. Never put it together that’s a reference to original figure design. Definitely want one more wave of these to fill out the movie set. If only Super7 could do it while Mattel did the origins line.
The boot dagger looks like those Dolph used in the original PUNISHER film.... Is there a skull on the end? :)

Yes, the movie isn't that good, but the designs were just wonderful adult versions of the Masters.

The only release that’s missing now is the ‘Julie Winston and Kevin Corrigan’ 2-pack including the accessory of the ‘Eternia jewel’ Seven in the last chapter of the film, when they both say: ‘Eternia, it’s real we actually were there...’
I always felt bad for....not hating this movie. I still remember going to the theater with my family to see it.

I have seen all the reviews of this figure in UA-cam and nobody has put the gun in the holster in the right position yet. The handle on the weapon should be facing out, that's how it was in the movie. Other than that, great review as always. I have been waiting for this particular He-Man action figure all my life too.
I was waiting for this review before i bought from BBTS. I am happy with the head sculpts, I was a little concerned with the marketing pics, but they look better, IMO, IRL.

Only thing I'm not keen on is the Cape... I remember the film at the back on his and skeletors they had emblems on the bottom with some patters but overall I love these
We need Skeletor's stormtroopers, Air Centurions, Teela and Man at Arms, Detective Lubic, Courtney Cox and vehicle playsets for Skeletor's hover barge, and Gwildor's pink Cadillac that runs on neutrinos.
How much was this figure initially upon release ?
The figure is great even thought I HATED the movie as a kid. My only nitpick with mine, other than him not being able to hold any of his accessories, is the cape on the right shoulder on my figure was glued crooked. I'll have to figure out a way to fix that with out ruining the figure. I might just replace the fabric with a better one.

If the bio for this He Man was what the movie was about it could have been a really good movie it has all the fan in there especially faker it would have been great

Watching this review last, I do think Super7 should have added some alternate gripping hands in the accessories of these Movie figures. I think just about everyone you reviewed, there was an issue with loosely held weapons.
Hello. I've been watching your reviews and you keep saying final 4 club grayskull figures. I received mine today and have 6 in the set. They don't show the Adam and shadow weaver on the back of these packages
The one thing I kind of wish is that they “toned down” the muscles on all these figures. To have them look like their movie counterparts.

Why didn't they make one for The Sorceress of Grayskull?
I know I seem to be in the minority, but I'm just not a fan of using soft goods for the capes/clothes. Other than that (very minor) complaint based on personal taste, great figure.
I do have to say though after watching some clips from the movie, the weird way it hangs in the middle is actually pretty close to how it looked on screen (Personally, I think it looks really odd there as well)
All I can think when I see this design is blond John Carter.
