- Hey guys, hope you have a fantastic day. In today's upload, I had diagnosed and fixed the misfiring of the engine. Due to misfire engine loses power and also acceleration drops. Misfire usually happens due to bad sparkplug so I had changed all sparkplug and now the car runs very good and there is no lag in power same as the NA engine has.
During this whole process, I have discussed how to choose which sparkplug you should use and how to check the sparkplug gap and the whole process from removing the old spark plugs and installing a new one.

What spark plug is good for zen?
Any sparkplugs are good, but there are difference in sparkplugs electrode tip and best sparkplugs would be one that have platinum electrode but that option would be expensive. If you're going with ordinary electrode then consider NGK or BOSCH
@@aanrky broo in my city there is no spark plugs for zen lx there is any other cars spark plugs are suitable for zen like alto ,santhro like that suggest me

Hi my 1999 zen starts in morning but when I shift 1st gear to move. But it stop might be engine not heatup as required. And this tym my mechanic put 15-30w engine oil.

I'm having a 2004 mpfi petrol tiger zen with almost same issues you were facing, very strong fuel burning smell from silencer and for 20-30mins in cold start. Slight smell is always there. Mileage of 7-9kms without ac, pickup is fully down.
I changed MGP spark plug 7000 kms back. I do full oil change and usual service every 4-5k still the issue is there.
I'm planning to buy ngk spark plug just like you.
Wanted to know your experience in last 2-3 years after putting ngk iridium spaek plug of 1.1mm on your car
Please do share your review here and which spark plug model should i go for for my mpfi petrol zen.
Thanks for commenting.. NGK sparkplug are running good as usual no problem with them.. and talkin' about you pickup.. try to adjust the distributor and also check air filter.. it may help you get good pickup and mileage.. but I suggest don't think more about mileage for this old cars.. 😁
@@aanrky Thanks, I'm doing everything possible for the mileage and pick up issues i face, even done with throttle body cleaning 😅. Air filter is white and brand new 700kms. Only thing is i was keeping car in stock no aftermarket parts.
After being fed up, First time had a thought of ngk iridium spark plug as last and final option to find the solution for pick up and mileage issue. I drove one of my friends same model mpfi car in 2020 lockdown times, it was so smooth,quick and responsive along with 13kms mileage with medium ac in highways... That's when i started hunting for solution.
Then maybe IAC valve making an issue and also get distributor checked.. maybe car need more advance timming on ignition..
Sir my esteem is 2007 petrol running , i am facing firing missing at ideal speed ( rpm variying ) and also at 60km/h speed car jerking vigorously, i changed spark plug but problem remains there. Is any solution
Check for air filter... If it don't fix then it maybe some other issue.. should contact local mechanic..
What is the thread length and diameter of the spark plug you used bro..??
I don't know.. i just told it's zen, he gave me the Spark plug.. but you can look into owners manual.. maybe it's written there..

Hi sir I have a problem regarding my zen car
After running for 1 to 2 km, while we ride through the slop, usually I don't give acceleration but after running Through the slope when I push the accelerator the cars engine is going to shut down with some missing, what might be the problem
Get your clutch checked, maybe clutch is slipping and also check the spark trimmings of the engine
Brother same thing .. engine rattle and don't pick up 1-2 gear then it works
If it goes throughout the whole gearing then you need to check the clutch..

I onced tried to make open exhaust after catalytic converter, but it sounds so raspy and bad and after that i don't tighten the bolt of catalytic converter and only hand tight it.. thats why it have some bassy sound

You should check the AC compressor maybe AC compressor is jamed and putting more load on engine

Susil, check air filter maybe it is full of dirt and not letting proper amount air get inside the car, if that not the case then check sparkplugs maybe one of the sparkplugs are not working properly and if that is proper then fuel is the problem try different brand fuels.
