This video is a demonstration of how to repair a distributor Oil Leak. The leak is generally caused due to failure of o rings or oil seals.This repair is simple and can be done by anyone at home.All you need to do is replace the damaged o rings and seals.Its quite a cheap fix.Timing the rotor is also quite easy for this model as it has a dog clutch so setting ignition timing is simple if you just align the rotor in the same angle in which you pulled it out

You should open complete distributor there is 6204 number bearing inside and there is small oil seal ok you should change that otherwise boring change karne ka kuchh nahin hoga

Flange in carburettor version has similar o'ring or paper gasket?
O ring only as far as I know....they might have added high temp. RTV for better sealing

Try on Boodmo app bro...else try in any autorickshaw spares parts shop...this size of o ring is used for autorickshaw parts also
Don't forget to use silicon gasket paste...it ensures that it won't leak after fitting

It's a simple issue bro...any mechanic can fix it...u too can attempt to do it looking at the video....just replace the o rings and be sure to use high temperature RTV paste over the orings.. otherwise it will definitely leak again

Why are u disconnect the battery terminal?
Just for safety...you can just keep the key off that's also enough
Once you remove the distributor...you have to put back the dog clutch in the same angle you took it out....you don't want any one to crank the engine and change the position of the camshaft ryt. That's why...just for safety

U must contact some industrial oil seal supplier or some two wheeler spar parts shop broo... actually it is the same oil seal even for wagonr...so try removing it and ask for it in spare parts shop
