    Ideal spot at northern end, rocky area, inaccessible high tide. Catches: eels, snappers, kingfish, kina. Ample parking by beach, crowded on holidays. Scenic, family-friendly park. Good for camping, kayak fishing.
    00:41 - 2 - Gulf Harbour Pinecrest Dr
    Natural rock platform below a cliff, unreachable at high tide. Cast far into the channel here for large fish, even kingfish. Rocky, large waves, hooks get snagged - bring spares.
    Accessible by car, ample parking, but far from the city. Five-minute walk down a staircase.

    Under bridge, large schools of Parore all year. High tide crucial. Bait with seagrass or mussels, easy hooking. Southern side parking, easy access.Walk bridge south to north, short trail to fishing platform. Calm water, visible fish schools from bridge. Kids kayak at high tide.

    Top fishing at beach's north end by reefs, tide-dependent. Good catches on beach depend on luck. Possible dolphin or orca sightings. Ample parking nearby.

    Channel here, strong front cast could catch big fish. Orcas, dolphins might visit on warm days. Ample parking at pier, good for kids, restroom and playground nearby.

    Rock platform beneath cliff, unreachable at high tide. Possible to catch pipper, berley may attract big fish, luck-dependent otherwise. Easy roadside parking on cliff top, steep 7-min stair walk to rocks. At low tide, climb rocks to secluded beach at northernmost Stanmore Bay Beach.Area interesting for kids to explore.

    Catch decent fish with strong, far casts. Unbeatable views, ideal for leisurely weekend fishing. Bring chair, snacks, or novel. Parking 300 meters away. Good for kids.
    04:54 - 10 - Harbour Bridge Pathway
    Rod holes, bait cutting and fish handling facilities along path. Exposed rocks at low tide good for fishing. Park by water, fish from car in poor weather
    05:25 - 11 - Okahu Bay Wharf
    Fish variety, unbeatable views. Tricky parking, worse on holidays. Windy in winter, wear windbreaker.
    05:58 - 12 - Greenhithe Wharf
    Floating boat spot, not many fish, deep, secluded part of bay, good for kids' fishing and kayaking.
    Regular seal visitor absent recently. Ample nearby parking."

    Catch snapper, kahawai, pipper, especially kingfish here. Popular spot for first kingfish catch. Arrive before high tide. 20+ parking spots at pier, may be full on holidays. Restroom nearby, suitable for kids.

    Wild West Coast, rich in fish, big wind and waves - safety first, wear life jacket. Far from city, 20-minute walk from parking to seaside. Bring cart if available.

    Broke personal fishing record here, lots of kingfish, gurnard, snapper, kahawai. Unbeatable view, patience equals great catch. Easy access, ample parking. Windy winters, bring windbreaker.
