This video is better than Netflix shows ! redefining cheer-leading
Smiling so big reading this comment! Thank you
Im going to audition this year. This video was extremely helpful!
YAY I'm so glad!!! Let me know if you have any questions. Good luck Shannon!
This video was so well done it looks great! Thanks fo this I was always interested in the process to become a professional cheerleader. Congratulations 🎉
Micaela B Thank you so much! I’m so glad you liked it ❤️
Could you film or talk about a breakdown of game day like call time practice ext. it’s very interesting
Kyra Denise Alston Hey Kyra! I have 2 videos up right now that take you through almost an entire game day. Hopefully those help, and if not I’m more than happy to film a more in-depth video! Let me know if you have any specific questions. 😊
Omg I’m so glad I found your channel! Hey sis, I’m a NFL cheerleader and make UA-cam vids too🤍🤟🏼
Awesome!! So glad we found each other! ❤️
What is the process typically like with no covid? I really want to try out next year!
Also I also attend Emory for undergrad!
faith m You should definitely try out! That’s awesome about Emory - I love it here. Auditions are usually 1 day of preliminaries, 3 or so days of finals, an interview, a fitness boot camp, a hip hop portion, and a freestyle section!
Djk34💘💝🥰 are you single how old you are
omg thank you I am definitely looking into doing NFL Cheerleading for the Falcons now cause you are veryyyy inspiring to me
So sweet!!! I’m so happy to hear that 😊
I was thinking of auditioning next year. I’ve cheered all my life, but I know NFL cheerleaders usually have dance backgrounds. Do you think this is something I’d be able to do? If so, any preparation tips or names of techniques/certain skills to learn?
You should go for it! There are def girls on the team with cheer backgrounds. I'd work on pirouettes, turning disks, a la seconde turns, barrels, right/left/center leaps, kicks/tilts :)
One day I will be in America and in Atlanta Georgia
Great vid! Thx for sharing 😄
I’m so glad you enjoyed!! :)
FALCONS RISE UP!
Rise Up!!
I loved this video! I’m planning on trying out for my states nfl cheer team next month and I was wondering if you have suggestions for where to by the matching sports bra and shorts sets for auditions? Any other tips would also be greatly appreciated!
So amazing!!! I’d recommend Dallaswear. They make a lot of our uniforms and several of us buy our audition outfits from there. As far as tips, make sure you are working on your flexibility and taking lots of jazz/pom/hip hop classes! Best of luck 🤍
Awesome video and I love you and I want to dance with you in the future
Thank you!!!
Greetings from Beaumont Texas
Howdy 🤠
Omg you’re so cute!!!
How fun!
Aw thank you so much!! It’s a blast!
I am a big fan of the phone cuz I wish I was one of you guys but I'm only 8 years old
Hey Gorgeous! ❤ How Do You Stay So Fit? Mexican Is My Weakness! 😂 Every Single AFC Is Beautiful & In Top Notch Shape!
You are so sweet. Thank you! Mexican is my weakness as well. The team has memberships at a couple gyms/yoga studios/etc so I spend a lot of time working out at those places!
Thank you for the video. What would you say the ratio is of girls who audition and those who get accepted?
You're welcome! I would say 400+ girls audition each year and 36 are selected. :)
Question: If you managed to get the attention of the coaches but had a bad day going across the floor in prep class & messed up on a small part of the routine, does that hurt your chances of being on the team because they see you aren't exceptional all the time? I'm really strong at choreography (esp if I can take it home and perform later) but I'm not the best at across the floors.
I would love to be a NFL cheerleader but sadly the pittsburgh steelers don't have cheerleaders anymore...at least I can live my dream somewhat by being a steel city angel dancer for a group that does parades and stage shows. Hopefully someday pittsburgh steelers will bring back cheerleaders.
That stinks. Hopefully Steelers bring back cheerleaders soon. Happy for you that you are able to still perform though!
What was your interview portion like? Love your video btw! :)
Thank you so much! My interview was with both of the coaches. They asked why I wanted to be a part of the organization, what I could bring to the table, what I did as a full time job, and what my plans were for my future!
How often do you perform double turns in the boots? Is it difficult to keep momentum on the field if so?
Hey! We do them quite frequently. I’d say the boots combined with the turf isn’t the easiest thing in the world, but if you can do a triple/quad/+ normally, you should be fine on the turf in boots!
@@brookeferris7158 okay that makes me feel better! Thanks!
You’re welcome 🤍
I would love to be a Falcons cheerleader but I’m so scared! Any advice or suggestions?
Don’t be scared! Take as many jazz, hip hop, and technique classes as you can. Work on your flexibility too. 😊
Where did you get your audition outfit?
The purple one? I borrowed it from a sweet friend whose family member made it!
How old do you have to be
18!
Okay I’m over 18 can you still audition?
I have another question
hey I would love to be a nfl cheerleader! I want to take dancing classes to improve my skills which should I take?
That’s awesome! I would recommend taking jazz, hip hop, and technique classes!
@@brookeferris7158 ty so much 🥰
@@adoreerikaa1333 you’re welcome!
do you need to be able to tumble?
how much were the audition fees?
@@jessicarizo180 Hey Jessica!! Tumbling is not required but is definitely encouraged. It is only $35 to try out!
Why don't women wear pantyhose unless they are cheering in the NFL? They look really nice so it doesn't make sense to me.
