When the Lady trying to stop you from destroying the universe explains about the multiverse, QueenBlaze says it's a JoJo reference. But, it's not. It's a legitimate scientific theory. That there are more than one universe and somewhere out there beyond the state of our known universe there are others...other universes with other yous and other versions of the same people you know. Only slightly different from one to the next. It's a fascinating thing, really. And it kind of makes me think of all those stories of people seeing doppelgangers, twins of yourself that--if you should meet them--usually spell out your death. I think the reason for this is because seeing another you in the same universe as yourself is a paradox--which is two identical things that cannot exist at the same time in the same place without causing destruction of a universe's timeline--so one of you has to die. It's also the reason why time travel can NEVER be a thing. Not because it's impossible, but because it's EVIL to do such a thing. Because time travel is not going back in time, it's going to another universe. Because time is linear, it always moves forward, and never back. You cannot loop around to start over and fix things. All you'd be doing is going to another universe and changing what shouldn't be changed, all the while thinking you're doing something good. Think of it like Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Hermione's Time-Turner lets her go "back in time," and the reason she has it is because that year she signed up for too many classes and wanted to still take them all. But, it basically ruined her sleep schedule, her patience, and her whole attitude became frustrated and agitated with everything. But, Dumbledore told them that there were rules when they went to go back to save Sirius Black and Buckbeak from execution. 1. Don't EVER let your past self see you, or it will create a paradox, which cannot be resolved. 2. Never change anything because it might destroy the timeline. 3. Never stay for too long in the past, because you'll get stuck there. 4. Never go back more than five hours, or else the future will be rewritten.
