Removable Avery labels are genius! I've used Erin Condren planners a couple of years and love it. I use mine as a "to do" list. There are some tasks I do weekly, and this would save me writing them over and over.
I have the Erin Condren planner and love the layout. It is exactly what I have been looking for. I love the monthly layout with the daily interspersed. Just a perfect planner for me!!
I just want to tell you that you have helped me so much. For the longest time I have had an absolute mess. I got confused about bills and appointment dates, etc. You have helped me become so much more organized. Thank you.
Jen, because of you I ordered an EC address book. I LOVE IT! It replaces my old mess of an address book. It's so nice looking, large, and has a nice layout. I love all the little extras they snuck into my order too. I'll definitely be purchasing more Erin Condren items for myself and as gifts.
Yes, I agree. The only thing I don't like about the EC planners is that they are not customizeable as far what sections you want, the order, etc. Plus, you can't reuse them. You have to order a new one every year.

I really absolutely love the idea of repositionable stickers. I am going to do that myself. I was super stoked to get the $10 off, and went shopping but found the calendars are only up to December 2014, they are still the same price if you start in Jan Feb Mar or Apr.... So, I will wait a few months and order when then next year comes out. I'll just use the rest of my cheapy planner.
All I need is a real simple planner, so I just buy them wherever. But I do like your videos even if they don't really apply to me. I'm glad that you are answering some of the comments....that is great! I think viewers appreciate that.
Wow! These planners are AMAZING. Right now as a college student I can't justify spending so much on one, but when I graduate and I'm teaching full time I'm SO going to get one to help keep track of my to-dos and deadlines. They're just gorgeous :)
Hi Jen, Actually if you go to Kinkos/Fed Ex, etc. they can copy the back to back pages so you can move them where you want them and then re-bind it. I have done this with other planners.
I love being organized and years ago I used lots of Franklin Covey type calendars, but with the apps available online I do not use any hard copy calendars anymore. I have all my calendars in the cloud (including my Outlook calendar at work) and can access them simultaneously at home, work and on my phone. I can create calendar items, color code, create reminders and share them with every member of my family. With all the flexibility that technology allows it's hard to go back to paper planners.
I don't know about any of you guys but I personally like any labels on my monthly or weekly pages to stay there so that I can look back in the future to see what happened on what day. Having a repositionable label will make that day "blank". Sometimes I will insert a sticky note on the weekly pages if I dont have enough room to right but those will stay on that page and not move to the following week. I guess everyone has a different preference.

Thanks so much for this post! I went back to paper planning as using my iphone calendar was not effective. I got a Filofax but i find the papers so thin that I can see my writing on the other side of the page (I like to color code with pens and markers too!) Are the EC pages "see-through" as well?
Perfectly fine with the two part video. Honestly, I'd rather have two detailed planner videos than one hurried video. But that might just be because I'm obsessed with planner videos. ;-) I'm starting college in August, so Erin Condren might be the way I go!

I, personally, believe to be completely organized is to have everything in one place. It would drive me totally insane to have things in different planners. As a fellow planner/paper junkie, I fight the urge all the time and going back to the single planner always wins out (of course, my past employment training at Franklin Covey is definitely still ingrained in me). As an educator and mixed media artist, I do use art journals and notebooks, etc., for a multitude of other things; however, all my "dated" stuff and "to-do's" goes into my single "planner." When I die, my family will be able to pay for my funeral by selling the stacks of unused planners and journals I have hoarded--shhhh!
I am a one-planner person as well. But apparently she needs to have separate planners for the many business projects she has going. Perhaps she is better able to process everything by keeping them separate.

I love the planner and how cute and big it is. But the vertical weekly format wouldn't work for me sadly. Being a student in college I get detailed assignments that take a lot of space sometimes and I also have two jobs and that setup wouldn't allow me to write comfortably. But I do want to get one when I graduate. Maybe she'll come up with a more student friendly version. Haha. Who knows.

I like the container store plastic see thru bag. I could this of multiple uses and seeing thru makes it easier to identify contents inside. The teal band and pencil holder would be useful. As far as planners, I use the medium blue sky in teal/tan paisley print bought from Target. A shared google calendar helps my husband see my work schedule. It is synced to iphone making updates instant. Thank you Jen for posting this vid and giveaway. EC products would be a nice upgrade for next year

I can't remember where I saw this is the blogosphere, but one EC user took out the spiral and re-punched the pages to fit her ARC system (similar to Levenger Circa). This way, you can move the pages around and/or take out the ones you don't need yet.

I recently came from using a Filofax to EC and I have to say I miss my Filofax. I used a EC a couple yes ago & didn't care for it but I thought I'd give it another try but now regretting it. The EC is very nice & colorful and I like how it gives a lot of room for notes, appts, to do's, etc but it's so bulky and big. I also don't like how you can't remove/add pages. Not customizable at all. This will be the last time using EC, not worth the $, in my opinion.
I know this will be a lot of money but I have seen people on UA-cam who inserted their EC into their A5 filofax and combining both options for customisability.
This is off topic, but I loved your makeup today. Everyday really, but it looks especially nice today with what you're wearing. Maybe you could throw into your already busy schedule "How I got this look!" video. This one in particular. :-)
Sorry for the second post, these EC are very pretty, but I've heard a lot of people on YOTUBE talking about having to theirs, and I'm sorry but for start out prices being $50.00 I don't want to have to tweak it, Like you said, you can't move things around to suit you, you don't use the night section, To bad people can't have it customized to fit their needs. I didn't order one because of some of the reviews I'd read. I'm not paying $50.00 or more and then have to try and fix it for my needs! Like you I also like removable labels and I did order those stickers, and don't like them! How did you do the color block ? Can you either explain or do a video on how you did those ? I'm not computer savvy needless to say ;(

I prefer repositionable labels but only ones that stay put. I still have removable labels on my calendar pages from last year.

Love how you made the labels yourself. :) What a great idea.
To reuse the stickers that come with the planner, try sticking the sticker to a small tab or post it note. That way they last a little bit longer.

Target has one that's a few inches larger for under $4--I use them for all kinds of stuff. They don't have a container store in the New Orleans area.

Interesting to see the planner, but it would be a lot more helpful to see a planner from someone that actually has real things going on and is actually busy. This video is just showing how Jen is making herself look like she has something going on.
