If your booth is sparse, you can fill in with framed photos of you at work making your art or even a power point or slideshow. If your product is homegrown, like the lavender example, show a picture of the garden or field. My business is farm based and pictures of our animals can be great conversation starters.
Great comment Debby, and yes, I love that suggestion! Definitely makes for a nice enhancement to the theme in a way that supports the backstory of the vendor and their products.
@@susancook1448 the science of finding the perfect location takes time to learn!❤️I was a first booth in a couple of events last year and all I got was the excuse “ I am going to look around and then come back” . Even if you are the only one selling your kind of products, they end up buying something else and then that’s it! Fewer sales!
@@elianamckee I agree. I signed up for one last October and had no choice of location-never again. Got put in a hallway that was just a pass through between two other hallways. Way in the back and not in the main room. Not signing up again. It was extremely expensive too-$185 for a 6x9’ booth. Never again on the small size either! I did make twice the booth fee but I don’t consider that profitable since I spent $100 on wire grid displays
@@susancook1448 I know. Last year I was accepting all kinds of events. Now I know where my target audience is and which are the good events to attend. I will make sure it’s worth my time. Maybe John could do a Facebook live or zoom live where we could all talk bc about our experiences. There’s so much to learn from everyone in this amazing group!
I’ve thought about doing a live event here on UA-cam. It’s good to see it brought up organically here in the comments and to know that there would be some interest in it.
Thank you for answering the questions so thoroughly! ❤

Beautiful ideas , Debby!❤️
I love figuring out the best booth location! Thank you, Danielle, for the question!
That’s a fun topic to cover for sure!
Just in time!

Great video. Greetings from Pretoria, South Africa 🇿🇦
Jambo! Welkom! I hope those are both relevant in South Africa haha! I’m trying to learn a couple words since I’ve got some viewers from there! 😃
The group has gone international!❤️
Ohh
No one buys right off the bat. Better to be in the middle but always get the corner booths
I had a corner booth in December but I felt like customers were not seeing us. I’ll work on setting up a more attractive booth next year.
