Okay this week while I'm on vacation I'm all in on this. I feel like my next level of trading is going to come from added discipline with trading with less risk. Not more. I'm trading the SPY QQQ challenge.
Carm had a bad day yesterday, but my last trade of the day was this exact trade bro. I listened to everything you’ve said in that chat, staying objective, manage risk, and follow your plan/trade your edge. Ended up closing that NQ bounce @ around 63% and wiped most of my losing for yesterday! Still a long way to go but have to stay the course! Thank you & Dylan for everything 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
On nq to clarify, put the trade on @ 11:46 am and sold 80% into that first rally, stopped out on that first pullback above demand. Just gotta work on setting stops for runners, I always seem to get stopped out before the next leg up. I think the stop is too tight I set
I am new to trades. Read about your course outlines which appears quite comprehensive. Keen to learning but can't afford your course as it is bit expensive.
Good video. I find it easier to actually watch SPY and QQQ as two of my main 4 watches each day. How do you even know which QQQ strikes to look at in relation to NQ? Too many digits to worry about with NQ lol
Another incredible video brotha . I’m curious as to why you don’t trade the DOW? It’s only 30 companies so it could be beneficial to only have a market of 30 companies vs /NQ or /ES, what are your thoughts?
I need to see this. Thanks Carmine. I've been jumping around different tickers, and this idea here is so simple yet true. Will apply this next week. Love your discord !
Hey Carmine, great video ! I understand the spy is very liquid but have you ever had any issues closing out a higher number of contracts right away ? I know for smaller contracts it closes out quickly but what about a higher number ?
I have a really small $100 account I just started, is it possible to grow with small gains or should I wait till I have a little more money in it before I try this?
Can someone tell me which expiration date is he using (for QQQ and SPY) when day trading options like this? the next expiration date? the same day expiration date?...?
Is your course and discord only related to options trading? I'm a day/swing trader mainly dealing with OTC and small caps, so would the course or discord be for me?
If you don't mind me asking, when trading spy options, what exp date you usual look for and how long you hold? I tried a lotto today, baught calls instead puts and got busy with work.. my account is def small now
@@carmine_rosato i tried the $TSLA and $AMZN.. one mistake in 30 seconds down 50%. Lol i agree with you and your advice for small accts.. can't wait to study your courses. Thank you brother and let's watch $SPY bounce back to $427 next week! Have s great weekend
Do you do O day when trading SPY OR /ES? I remember Trading SPy calls ITM before and the contract barely move or move so slow to the upside. Even tho the SPY move a dollar my contracts barely turn green. But a few ticks to the downside my contracts lose more, percentage wise.
Love your videos I’m still studying your course I wanna be great at it so I’m taking my time keep up the good work!!!!! I would like in the future maybe a video of how to grow your account while working full time like maybe towards swing trading! Just a opinion tho!!! Your awesome bro!!!
I don’t see how this strategy could be used for building up a small account. With pattern day trading limits you couldn’t do more than three trades per week until you have over $25k in the account. What am I missing?
Great stuff. Seems like I have more success overall with AAPL and NIO and other single equities than I do with SPY and QQQ. Maybe I am looking for too big of a move in the /ES and QQQ charts, or feel like keeping up with an individual stock is easier news wise. . . whatever the reason. . . Overall, I have more success lately with QQQ over SPY. . . I chart /ES to trade SPY , yet like to chart and trade QQQ off the QQQ chart. . . seems like there is more "whole number" 4300 4350 etc credibility on the /ES over the SPY chart numbers 430 435 etc and they don't line up perfectly (4300 on /ES might be 429.5 on SPY) . . .With QQQ I get confused charting off the /NQ Futures chart with the 14,700 14,725 etc. (over 10,000) pricing structure. . Wonder if investors/ traders follow it as closely as the /ES number other than the really big /NQ milestones like 14,000 15,000 etc. I swear I always have the /ES number stuck in my head constantly updating 24/7 (just ask any of my friends hahaha) Also have noticed that QQQ can be a bit more "spready" and option premiums don't always move as quickly with QQQ as they do with SPY even around the same delta . . . Had some QQQ puts on Thur with Fri expiration that moved choppily in my favor within an hour hold time and barely squoze profit out of them. Still seems like I do better with QQQ than SPY overall. QQQ is only the top 100 Nasdaq (non-financials) market cap stocks which makes it really like a FAANG index and I follow all the FAANG companies closely. However, /ES and SPY are better indicators of the overall market in my opinion, yet don't correlate "quite" as well with the FAANG stocks, and give me a lot more "market" to keep track of if I'm looking at what the components are doing. . . Just some thoughts that I hope can help someone out. . . Thanks again for the video Carmine :-)

Thanks for the vid, Carmine. I'll let you know how it goes. You would laugh your ass off if you saw me trying to keep up with you on Sundays. This will simplify things till I get faster at charting.
I'm assuming that because the options you're buying are expiring same day, the option greeks are turbo charged and you've got the IV contributing to the price/profit increase. You would be making a higher return percentage per trade using your approach over just trading the Futures contract? This video where you show the split screen of the SPY and the corresponding option chart is a big help visualizing the trades. Thanks!!!
@@carmine_rosato Your audio levels are a little lower compared to other UA-cam videos, but I have no problem hearing if I just turn my volume up a few notches higher than usual
I don’t get why you select puts but then talk about the market going up as if you bought calls? 🤷🏻♂️ never mind I see you were plotting your contract on the chart.
Hey Carmine. I've been following you ig and youtube for some time now. I got my degree in business administration and paper traded and for almost 6 months now I've been consistently paper trading again. It definitely is a journey but your insight and the way you approach the market has helped me tremendously. I'm paper trading with 2k and I'm seeing on average anywhere between 5-7 percent returns every day. I'm going to keep practicing even though I feel confident. Thank you bro, seriously. Ok i have a question that I hope you'll answer. Say for instance a stock broke below a demand or supply zone. Does that zone become invaild?
Yes correct
This video literally changed my whole trading mindset/strategy. Straight fire bro

Never traded the DOW, but nothing wrong with it. ES is the most liquid market
Do you trade the 1 minute chart always? Or do you use the 3 and 5 min?
Carmine when you are trading SPY or QQQ are you trading the same day expiry or next expiry date?
Usually 0-1 days
How much would you start with
Thanks for your support as always brother! 💯
You got it man

What is the difference between the two courses you offer and what is your recommendation for beginner?

for someone with a cash account is it going to be different price wise (price of contracts)? answer needed guys :)
Same price !
@@carmine_rosato thanks I wish you all the best :)
