Awesome.504 GL .1975 I loved this model 2.0 twin carb, independent suspension 14 inch 70ply 185 balloon of tyres size and rear heat windscreen nice automatic 3speed to Mr pininfarina very artistic and creative man .
OK. I saw all the videos of the 504 in a single morning. I am from Argentina, where this particular car has A LOT of fans, with some nicknames as "yeyo" or "coach on wheels" (for its comfortable interiors). Mine (bought less than a month ago) is an XS-D (D is for Diesel), and is in good shape, thanks God. My father had the same model some 20 years ago, and I wanted the same ! So, here I am, lurching the web for videos, counseling and so on, for upgrading the car. Yours was a hell of a work! I learned a lot, specially about rust treating! I will review every video and check the individual items covered there. Thanks for your effort making the videos and teaching all us. Good luck selling Her to a loving owner ,and....use as marketing strategy the 2021 Paris-Dakar "vintage edition"....won by a....Peugeot 504!!!!
You've got the 504 looking very nice. The non-standard air cleaner is a negative although it depends whose buying. I've owned lots of 504s, and other Pugs and it's a tricky segment of the market. Good luck and stay coronavirus free!
stumbled on your channel after I started looking around for 504 ideas when I found one. I'm glad it's a restoration, not a mod job. definitely learned a thing or 5 here
I own a 1978 504 and have been watching your videos with great interest. I hope you can sell it for a good price, you’ve done a great job! I wish you the best of luck in these crazy times. Maarten, from The Hague in the Netherlands
I would have bought it from you if I didnt own it, I have one like it from 1978, i get a lot of offers, in fact it's like a Jeep to me, in Africa it's called the master of roads/ Young Lion, French Lion and many positive nicknames , it showcased its ability to be driven in a messed up roads, mountains, hills etc... and still in a perfect shape. that's how you know a machine made with passion.
Looking forward to seeing what happens next. It’s a shame you are having to offload quickly but it makes complete sense with the uncertainties ahead. And of course, you need the $ to keep you in gluten free pasta! 😆
Cold start on mine was always choke fully out and the half way back. Don't touch the accelerator and turn the key. First time every time. Just a suggestion. Maybe when advertising put up a link to your channel so the buyer can see the full history.

Nice to hear from you Maarten. I hope I have done things pretty right to get it back up to scratch. Selling will be hard during these times.
I hope you can find someone to give it a good home soon, Adam.
At least loo paper's back on the shelves!
I will likely have to sit this out mate. Wait for a change in the tide.
