  • We left Stirling, headed past Tyndrum and towards Oban. Stopped in a car park at the river Lochy for 2 Munros, Ben Lui 1130m and Beinn a’ Chleibh 916m.
It was raining the night before, and in the early morning. When we left the car park there was a light drizzle, it all added to the water levels brining them up as we had to properly wade across the river Lochy, then use steppingstones across another small burn, then went into the boggy - boggy - boggy section through the woods. Even past the woods onto the shoulder of Ben Lui it was still very boggy.
It all made for a great experience.
We followed the route here at Walking Highlands www.walkhighla... all the details and route maps are there.
If you have made it this far and you would like to buy us a coffee. You can! Yippee. Treat Karen and James to a coffee after their adventures.
