Going from boomerang to hangtime is a unbelievable upgrade
How they used the short length of the Boomerang and put Hangtime?! I have no idea how they did it.

RMC Obsesee better than B&M, only the front row gets it. On hangtime, all rows have it. Also only lapbars
RMC Obsesee Way more than an other ride I've been on or any other ride in the park
HangTime starts when you go through a 90 Degree angle as you get to the drop then it holds you for 6 Seconds and drop a 96 Degree angle which is the STEEPEST part of the ride which then you Inversions which is smooth and you have your “entire” experience

You keep saying the ride is too short, but they didn't have any more space to work with. I think it is fine in length, but maybe that is because I went on a day with no lines so I got 15 walk-ons.
CreatorCreepy exactly why I didn't make a big deal about it being short. Obviously space was limited, so they worked with what they had.
@@CoasterStudios one of the best coasters i've ridden at knotts. Xcelerator was my first intamin launch coaster which left me with a small bruise on my elbows due to the G forces of the launch. Silver Bullet is my favorite and smoothest, ghost rider was rough but fun
@@lukepevensie ghost rider was rough? the hell u smokin. Ghost rider was glass smooth (for a woodie) every time I went on it, it is one of my favorite wooden coasters.
You say they didnt have space. But look at what Alton Towers managed to do with The Smiler

Personally I would say this is a 8.75/10 because there’s unexpected airtime, Incredible HangTime, basically Fahrenheit with airtime and better inversions. Very re-ride able

As my home park is KBF I thought I might shed some light on a few things in this video.
Riding HangTime 34 times since it’s opening I can tell you that most of the complaints that it is rough come from the jiggle at the top of the corkscrew, it shakes the train and mostly the second row due to how the wheels are placed. The rattle also heavily depends what train you are in. If you look closely outside the storage shed you can see one train disassembled and that color train (blue I believe?) had quite a rattle.
On the vertical lift you can also scream look down for entertainment. Other than that great review!
Kinda sad too think mainly only locals come to KNB. But hey, the park to ourselves (: . I live 10 minutes away XD

@@hemingway5613 is that really true? KBF is Cedar Fair's second most attended park next to Cedar Fair. I doubt that its just locals increasing the attendance rate.
I absolutely think Kings Dominion should get an Infinity to replace Volcano. It would be a great fit in that spot and for the park.

I learned something recently--B&M's don't actually stop, the chain just goes into low gear and then when it "releases," it's actually the chain kicking into high, effectively pushing you off the edge, not just dropping you.
yup, that is correct. It definitely feels like an abrupt stop, but if when you ride it you focus on something stationary, you'll be able to tell you're moving ever so slightly. I learned all about that on my tour of Griffon where we got to go up to the top!
How could this ride be rough? It's very smooth and well worth a replacement of Boomerang, which was rough and always gave me a light headache. I'm glad that ride is gone... HangTime is purely amazing!!
When I was GP, I went to Knott's for a school trip the day after Hangtime opened! It had a four hour line, and we didn't even think about going on it, especially since I had literally just experienced my first inversion on Montezuma's Revenge earlier that day. I came back a year later, as an emerging enthusiast. I really enjoyed it! 🎉
When I rode this I was expecting it to maybe ride like Cannibal, but it felt like a forceless B&M looper so I was a little disappointed. The rattle is a little disturbing too

I was there the day you filmed it on feb 16 well it could have been another day but I dropped my jaw and my friends were like what and I was like I just saw one of my favorite UA-camrs and they were like go get a pic and I was like ok then I was gonna go ask for a picture and I went out to the little shop and I saw you but then I dropped my phone and the my wallet and then everything fell out and then when I had everything together I stood up and you were gone but it’s ok I’m just happy to at least I saw you

i agree that it was a good fit..corkscrew was fantastic and fit the roaring 20's airfield theme. boomerand was a placeholder.
This was my favorite ride in the park, and possibly my favorite night ride ever!

I loved this coaster, I'm new to coasters, and this was my 5th credit, amazing first gerstlauer coaster.
There are 2 better Infinity coasters in europe

Finally took my first ride this weekend. I love the ride as a whole. It felt like it was going to stall out in each inversion which made the ride for me. It's good during the day but even better at night. Interestingly enough, it was the vertical lift that played havoc with my mind. All in all its a fun coaster that is fantastic for the park.

I believe the restraint moves in closer due to the hydraulic restraint lock system. I prefer these restraints over the classic kind with the locking gear since they can be totally custom fitted to your body. And I am also ok with that restraint being as tight as possible :D
All rollercoasters should have lights like hangtime

having rode it two times in the 2nd row, i thought it was amazing. i way prefer it at night though. that cold breeze on the drop.
SFMM is my home park, but Knot's is my second home park, and I would put this ride as #3 in the park behind GhostRider and XCelerator. It is better than Silver Bullet. Factoring in the SEMM roller coasters, I would prefer Twisted Colossus, X2, Tatsu, Full Throttle, and I would have this slightly better than Batman. Nice add for Knott's
you should do a top ten dethroned roller coasters, it could be record breakers, replacements, or added additions that destroyed a previous favourite.
I'd honestly put it at a distant 4th place. Idk if you got good rides on it or what, but it stapled me every time I rode it so I got no airtime and the "hangtime" on the ride hurt because it stapled me. Also It's short af. It's saving grace is that lift and first drop. I don't think it comes even close to Silver Bullet which I have at #3
@@EliPlayzzz While I'll agree they aren't the best coaster model out there, I definitely wouldn't go as far to say they suck. Also Silver Bullet is the best one I've ridden.

My 2nd favorite coaster, behind Xcelerator! Although I noticed negative g stall has a bit of a rattle to it. Other than that, I rate it a 10!
On February 15th of this year I got a chance to ride HangTime and it was a blast! The wait was only like 10 to 15 minutes so I had no complaints about the line being long
A thing that Hangtime has that other beyond vertical drop coasters don't have is short length and that's also why it's short. All of these type of coasters have a 90° lift to begin.

I had the pleasure to ride this coaster in October 2018. I was seated in the front on my first ride. This is always something I would have liked in a dive coaster, a nice and thrilling ride after the drop. In my 2 week holiday to LA, this was one ride I was looking forward too, the other two being X2 and Viper, aldo Viper was down for maintainance, but still had a good time :D

My top three is the same, but I’d put Silver Bullet in last place among their coasters.

I like smaller cobra rolls as long as they’re not rough
The only thing that makes some cobra rolls bad is the over-the-shoulder bars that your head gets slammed into. But since HangTime has only lap bars, that cobra roll is great. I didn't even realize it was a cobra roll.

I would much rather review a new roller coaster than do ANOTHER review for a ride I already did. Even though yes my opinion changed, there's too many rides out there I need to get to that have priority.

Take a shot every time Taylor says “hangtime” or airtime”
The first drop kind of ruined the ride for me. It took all the bight out of the drop to slowly creep over it.
The problem with this ride is that copperhead strike exist and copperhead has real hangtime…

HangTime was my favorite at the park, but just barely. They have a great top 3, and it was hard to decide which was my favorite. I thought that HangTime had a very noticeable rattle in the front row, but the back row had no rattle at all, so I greatly preferred the back. Some people are immune to certain rattles, in that they don't feel it at all even if it's definitely there. I think I'm like that with Intamins, because I never feel a rattle with their rides.

I had a completely different experience. I rode the thing in december and it SUCKED!!! it was really rough, had no hangtime and all it achieved was making me dizzy. the drop was mediocre, the inversions sucked. only good part was the airtime pop

I miss going to Knott’s Berry Farm! I grew up just about twenty minutes from there. My parents actually went there for part of their honeymoon in the early 60s! They’re from central CA, and my dad was about 21 and my mom was about 19 years old then...so they just wanted to go all over Southern California and also see the ocean. Years later, my dad decided to move to Southern California when I was a little kid. I think it use to be free to go into Knott’s Berry Farm back then. I think we went there a lot more than Disneyland because it was a lot cheaper with a family of five! And when I was a teenager, I remember my mom dropping me and my brother off, gave me money so we could buy something to eat, in the late morning and there was a long line of cars also parents dropping off their kids for the day and picking us kids up around 8 or 9. We went on all the rides several times! I loved it when it was Halloween... it was changed to Knott’s Scary Farm! Decorated for Halloween, mazes, almost every ride was suppose to be all scary looking, I use to hate one someone all dressed in character would jump out and scare us! Then there as Knott’s Merry Farm, during Christmas! When my little sister was about 3 years old, we all would go and take her to Camp Snoopy! I live too far away from there now, but someday I’m going to have to go on that rollercoaster where the Corkscrew use to be, I went on that one many times! 😁
I recently went on hang time with my best friend and while we were being help over the big drop, me and my friend screamed, “AMONG US”
Knott's has a cool mix of coasters, 1 B&M, 1 Gertslauer, 1 Intamin, 1 Zamperla, 1 GCI/CCI, 1 Schwarzkopf, 1 Zierer, and 2 Macks. Switch out the wild mouse for an RMC raptor and it's coaster manufacturer yahtzee.

Use to live in BP, I was there on opening day, sat on the far right of the back row and rode the coaster only one time, never again. HangTime actually has 6 inversions cause Boomerang had 3, the loop and the two halfs of the Cobra Roll, unless that doesn't count on HangTime. I hope that Knott's never changes the color scheme like it did to the other coasters. HangTime's Cobra Roll is in the same spot where Boomerangs loop was and it pays tribute to the Vekoma coaster, plus it's also my favorite inversion. HangTime's lighting package puts all the other coasters to shame. Now all they need to now is put Pink and Yellow LED lights on Xcelerator and Coast Rider. For me, HangTime is the best ride on the Boardwalk. Boomerang will not be forgotten thanks to HangTime's Cobra Roll.

At the top of the drop, the girl next to me screamed in fear as I yelled, "Oh my god! It's beautiful up here!"

tbh this ride was extremely disappointing for me, not sure why but it just had nothing that stood out besides the last inversion, that last inversion definitely caught me off guard xD
This is my home park. I think that the drop is way better in the front. The view is amazing. It is getting a rattle. It is somewhat smooth but you can feel the shakiness.
I went to Knott's the day after HangTime opened, and it had a 4 hour wait. 😣 I did not go on it obviously.
when i was in cali in erly 2020 i rode this thing so much i think my record was like 20 rides in a day id say i got a good feel for this ride
Yellow/blue train, row 4, outside right seat. Thats where I got a bit of a rattle. Good coaster though and a nice addition to Knotts.
Taylor if u think hangtime has solid hangtime you should really go check out the other infinity coaster in the us, monster. Honestly seems like its going to valley every time
