Even though the dress is quite beautiful, I decided to hold back because it's so pricey. Hi Emma, my friends arrange a get together once in a year .One can count on your tutorials to learn grammar and spoken English.I call off all my appointments to watch your new tutorials.Working out in morning is a good habit to stay healthy. Most of my plans work out in expected ways.
Emma, I think you are a lovely person and your lessons are really useful and enjoyable. Here are some answers to your quiz: 1) Come over (from a song by the late Paul Davies) Come on over tonight ... It's gonna be a cool night, just let me hold you by the firelight. 2) Break up (from a song by Neil Sedaka) Don't take your love away from me ... 'cause breaking up is hard to do.
Hi Emma, Do you know, you are better than other english teachers and your channel is also better than others. The quality, the way , the expression, the voice, everything is best in the world as per my opinion. Anyone can take interest and learn english and it doesn't matter how weak the learner is👍.
Hi, Emma, thanks for the video! Here are my sentences: 1- I gave in training crossfit after recurrent injuries in my muscles. 2 - I'll hold back visiting NYC next month because of the dollar currency's rise.
Hi emma, there's something i want you to explain, at the part of this: If give in- is something that needs to drop off What about "give up" i often see somewhere to express the lost battle that have to accept. I guess the concept between these two are so similar but i wonder if it has something that can make them different.
Phrasal verbs are awesome.many of them are so new for me due to lack of practice Thanks emma May God bless you and your family abundantly. I want to do any small work in Australia if it possible
Hi Emma, I know almost all the phrasal verb you teach, the one I've missed were "Come down with", and "Work out", as in exercise. Here are my sentences. Come over to my house, I live on 32nd street, I break up with my girl friend two years ago. Let's get together to go to the stadium, I heard about the new smart phone it just came out, I can wait to buy it, I came down with cold yestarday. I count on you to finish the work on Monday, please don't let me down. I'll drop in at your house later, to get that book you promise me. I look up at my boss.I was so angry when I could not find eye glasses, and then they turned up to be in the car, My boss called off the meeting when he realized no one was coming, I was trying to make Monica give up smoking, but I gave in, when I realized she'll never quit. I was not present at school yesterday, could you fill me in on what the teacher said. I hold back attending the lesson, because my girl friend was sick. I drop in my friend house, to drop off the book, I've borrowed. I work out on the papers for my exams. I work out all night a way to get rid of that old rocking chair, but at last I gave up.
1. I will come over to your house if you want. 2.I broke up the fight before someone came. 3. My friends and I are having a get together at diya's house. 4.I've heard about a thief in the house next to me. 5. I came down with an awful cold. 6. I do not know about anything but I am counting on you. 7. They will drop in on my house tomorrow. 8. I have been looking up on a doggy next door. 9. My brother always turns up when I am doing art.
Very informally, in some parts of England (maybe other places, I don't know) "Fill me in" might get you some odd looks unless you said "Fill me in on what's been happening/what you've been doing...", as it can mean "to punch someone in the mouth" & that's not likely to be what you want! Context and tone are important, of course & in most situations it's absolutely clear what is meant by "I'll fill him in", as there's a huge difference between telling someone useful or interesting things & beating them. :-) The following lines are from Elvis Costello's song "Shipbuilding":- It's just a rumour that was spread around town Somebody said that someone got filled in For saying that people get killed in The result of this shipbuilding
Thankyou so much my best teacher i'am always watching your vedeos they are really interesting and they help me a lot to improve my english skills your accent is very understood. Big fan from algeria

1) I invited him to come over, yesterday, but he didn’t come. 2) I broke up with Samantha. It was sad, but she understood. 3) Ashley and Maya got together, at their second meeting. Now, they’re friends. 4) I heard about the new cellphone in sales. Did you ? 5) The officer came down with the cold. He won’t come. 6) I was counting on my sister, few days ago, but she let me down, so I don’t trust her anymore. 7) we dropped in the police station, to see if the business was moving forward. Call in wasn’t useful, because nothing advanced ! 8) She finally turned up her phone, but though, the Cellphone didn’t have enough battery to call me up. 9) I called off the reunion, I didn’t need it. 10) I gave in when I figured out that it wasn’t a good way to obtain the information. 11) Thomas held back his opinion about fighting. Everyone loved it, but he didn’t like that. 12) You dropped off Sam at the park, cause you wanted to get rid of him. ADMIT IT ! 13) Emma worked out to lose her height, and it helped ! 14) I work out my Math exercises. In your opinion, do you think I am going to succeed the exam ? I did it ! I am very determined to learn all of them, and then to use them naturally. Thank you a lot ! \(^^)/

Hi emma, there's something i want you to explain, at the part of this:
If give in- is something that needs to drop off
What about "give up" i often see somewhere to express the lost battle that have to accept.
I guess the concept between these two are so similar but i wonder if it has something that can make them different.
Awesome quiz. We look up to you dear Emma.
I was away from this channel, so I did it wrong. I came back and I'm happy again
😍😍😍😍
Phrasal verbs are awesome.many of them are so new for me due to lack of practice
Thanks emma May God bless you and your family abundantly.

The following lines are from Elvis Costello's song "Shipbuilding":-
It's just a rumour that was spread around town
Somebody said that someone got filled in
For saying that people get killed in
The result of this shipbuilding
