I found the Goldfish thanks to Brewer's Kitchen, it's a shame Phil doesn't put out more videos more often because honestly it's the best of the best
Video editing is extremely time consuming. For videos of his level I'd wager its at least 10-30 hours of just pure editing.
Not accounting for recording, clipping, cutting, etc.
Also while Seth can record some games and edit them, Phil sometimes has to play hundreds of games so that his jank will work.
As people have said. To make the best of the best it takes a lot of time.

Yeah it was kinda hart to decide which games to show fully since they were all so different. Most people scooped before it got really crazy though so I just showed highlights instead of a bonus game this time

I think archetypes like this are cool. Much like the "random" characters in fighting games (some games just have the choice as "random," while others give you a character that uses a random style/weapon every round, still others mirror your opponent, kind of like this deck). It's a showcase of your mastery of the game.

I absolutely love this deck. My favorite commander deck is all about stealing cards like this. I love it because it makes every game unique!

My favorite for this used to be Gonti or Grenzo as commander but my new favorite is definitely Evelyn. I've had more than an entire deck's worth in exile to choose from.

I have a nice Artifact deck that does kind of the same thing.. Portal to Phyrexia... free artifacts... and a Keening Stone with a Paradox Engine... It takes their deck and uses it against them while making all my things free and Loadstone Golem to make theirs cost more... sooo much fun
Powerstone Shard with Paradox Engine and lots of free spells to cast makes for some fun with all the mana you can dream of... Mystic Forge is OP

I was trying to make this type of deck for a while when I was last playing.
This reminds me of my own Jeleva, Nephalia's Scourge deck I have for Commander.
All the deck does is steal goodies from opponents and uses almost all the cards in this kitchen brew.

The only reason I'm not hating the "My opponent has to have a deck with a gameplan for this deck to even work" plan is you just milled a miller. That's fine

I have had success up to plat one so far. What you want to do is take advantage of mulligan to start the game with at least one seek. From there luck takes the wheel on what you get. The planar and slip are to protect your anglers from removal and planar actually has a really cool interaction with mutated creatures as it brings them all back and separated with a counter on all of them. If you use it at the end of the enemy turn it makes for a great surprise swarm of attackers.
Anyway, check it out I've had fun making and playing it.
Yo I love that you put up the cards and explain some of the effects! Im not an avid magic player but know the basic rules and enjoy the game after playing a few games with a buddy. Really helps with understanding whats going on! Seen some yugioh highlight vids for example and apparently some mad plays were happening but I had no clue

Think I played against something like this a couple weeks ago! It almost worked, except with ivy spellthief, every time they tried to steal my stuff, it still has to target a single creature. And with mutate, that kept stacking on my own stuff regardless (and double/triple so once able to overlay a mutate on ivy, letting me play another ivy).
God whenever I watch your content I wish I could like videos more than once.

Back in scars/zendikar standard I managed to kill an infect deck with poison playing RDW. He played all 4 of his ichor rats and I played all of my volt charges and tezzeret's gambits.
I play a Nicol Bolas EDH deck that runs exclusively spell/creature stealing or copying cards and the amount of hatred it generates in people is as funny as it is ironic. People are ok with counter spells, having their stuff destroyed/exiled, but if they have to face the shit they put everyone else through they get really salty lol.

From the comments it seems scooping is the hardest part of getting gameplay footage which I kinda get, I personally hate steal stuff decks but I enjoy watching other people play against them haha. Also that esper deck is such a weird pile of cards.

They still have Animations to some extend. But in the early days every Mythic had a unique Animation
