Video editing is extremely time consuming. For videos of his level I'd wager its at least 10-30 hours of just pure editing. Not accounting for recording, clipping, cutting, etc.
@@canadasyrup2125 The biggest problem is actually people scooping before the cool thing happens 🤣 But the editing is by far the most time consuming part
Dude, Phil, how dare you create such a fun idea and then only give us 20 minutes of excellently edited gameplay. I could watch this deck for HOURS. Thank you for being so cool.
Yeah it was kinda hart to decide which games to show fully since they were all so different. Most people scooped before it got really crazy though so I just showed highlights instead of a bonus game this time
@Brewer's Kitchen that definitely makes sense, the production quality you do is amazing. I'm not gonna lie, though: with this one especially, I want more! Haha.
Phil, you have been one of the most amazing additions to the Goldfish crew. Your videos are always top notch with the editing, the animations you add in and the outright silly stuff you like to do.
Karn's ability to find the all-powerful artifact, "Like Button," is my favorite part of this video, and there were many contenders for that top spot. Love your content and your humor, thank you for sharing!
i used to play magic about 8 years ago but stopped playing after highschool. Really enjoy watching it still, but it does get confusing so thank you for explaining very briefly what all the cards do!
I think archetypes like this are cool. Much like the "random" characters in fighting games (some games just have the choice as "random," while others give you a character that uses a random style/weapon every round, still others mirror your opponent, kind of like this deck). It's a showcase of your mastery of the game.
My favorite for this used to be Gonti or Grenzo as commander but my new favorite is definitely Evelyn. I've had more than an entire deck's worth in exile to choose from.
All of the MTGGoldfish crew are treasures! But if I had to sac all but one to a cataclysmic gearhulk, I'd keep Phil around. (If only to use him for Repeated Reverberation or some other shenanigans.)
Yo I love that you put up the cards and explain some of the effects! Im not an avid magic player but know the basic rules and enjoy the game after playing a few games with a buddy. Really helps with understanding whats going on! Seen some yugioh highlight vids for example and apparently some mad plays were happening but I had no clue
I just love your content. Fun decks, really entertaining narration, nice video length (though I'm such a fan now that I'd take longer videos too). Keep on Brewing, Herr Kitchen!
Back in scars/zendikar standard I managed to kill an infect deck with poison playing RDW. He played all 4 of his ichor rats and I played all of my volt charges and tezzeret's gambits.
This brought a tear to my eye... Sad to not see my ladies (sen triplets) But still beautiful This is my favorite kind of deck I just wish I wasn't so bad at it T.T
I have a nice Artifact deck that does kind of the same thing.. Portal to Phyrexia... free artifacts... and a Keening Stone with a Paradox Engine... It takes their deck and uses it against them while making all my things free and Loadstone Golem to make theirs cost more... sooo much fun
After recording the gameplay for this, I odered a Gale's Redirection for my Commander deck, nobody's gonna expect this one. It also "exiles" instead of "counters" which is gonna come in handy against the Niv-Mizzet deck in our playgroup
@@BrewersKitchen Honestly I got it to do the same for my messy and unfocused Kenrith dice rolling deck, but as a humble nomad I always feel like I gotta be ready with a cheap counterspell for the guy trying to pop off around T4. Also Comet can recycle Counterspell which seems fun.
@@Vuohenmor Yeah I wouldn't rely on it as interaction but I hope I can snag something crazy with it in the lategame. Didn't draw it in a game yet though
Man, now I really want to know how that Sliver mirror match (that opened the video) went. The adorable meathooks are some of my favourites, even if they are absolutely terrible in Arena.
I found the Goldfish thanks to Brewer's Kitchen, it's a shame Phil doesn't put out more videos more often because honestly it's the best of the best
Video editing is extremely time consuming. For videos of his level I'd wager its at least 10-30 hours of just pure editing.

Also while Seth can record some games and edit them, Phil sometimes has to play hundreds of games so that his jank will work.
As people have said. To make the best of the best it takes a lot of time.

@@BrewersKitchen if you dont give us more of this deck, then let seth or crim play around with the deck maybe on stream ^^
I would totally love to see Phil play this deck for a whole stream frankly
That first match was the most magical wizard-like battle I have ever seen in the game of magic.

Yay Brewer's Kitchen! My favorite MTG channel on YT

the rain when explaining hero of precinct one is one of the best editing details I've noticed in this!
Just excellent! The Kitchen is the best part of this channel! Job well done Phil!
The production value on these vids is always incredible
That first JAZZ MUSIC STOPS meme had me rolling!
Two new eps in such a short span of time? We're spoiled!
Phil’s vids are just on another level. Love seeing more!
Thank you for explaining all the cards for new players. Makes it really easy to follow and nicely edited.
This is a deck that I could watch for Hours due to how it plays its opponents cards. Please do a part 2 for this deck
This is the most ethical playstyle in the game.
We have been delivered a wonderful concoction.
Thank you.
Ohohohohoho you tease! That opening line is what I want to hear!
Moar kleptomania decks!
Steal all the cards!
I absolutely love this deck. My favorite commander deck is all about stealing cards like this. I love it because it makes every game unique!
what's the commander?

this seems really fun it'd be cool to see more of it in the future
Genuinely the best edited mtg content out there
Phil, you keep your neighbors recepy for hot cakes.
The Kitchen is honestly my favorite MTG Content at the moment!
Best of the best mtg content period end of discussion. Love ya Phil!
I liked the Like Button in the sideboard. "chefs kiss"
Brewer's Kitchen is the only creator on UA-cam that I hit the like button on before I even watch the video.
Another great video. You guys just keep knocking it out of the park
Another deck to build, sheesh you're decks are so cool!
Absolutely love your brews, every single video you make is pure gold and I'm never let down

I've been waiting for new brewers kitchen!
These are my favorite MTG videos, keep up the great work!
I’d really love to see a full video of this!
This is why I love my thief deck. Every game is different, depending on my opponent's deck.
Playing your opponents deck looks like a fun time! New deck every game
