Watching how this series builds to Avengers: Secret Wars excites me. The premier episode was outstanding. I think this season is also preparing Loki for his role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This episode's MVP was OB. Who Is On The Phone? Loki's Time Slipping appears amazing and agonizing. For us. Kang continues, "For All Time," and Ravonna answers, "Always. Renslayer Ravonna, The time traveler, continues, "You are genuinely fantastic. "It would be an honor to lead with you. You contributed to this fight. I'm glad to have you on my team. I'm curious to know how much of the previous Multiversal War Ravonna Renslayer was involved in based on this exchange. Do you get thoughts of The Fifth Element when Loki leaps from a window at the TVA and lands on top of a yellow flying mail truck? It must be a deliberate reference to the scene in Luc Besson's strange sci-fi picture in which Milla Jovovich's Leelo does the same thing and enters Bruce Willis' neon-yellow flying cab. This episode contains some hidden details. When He Who Remains recounts in season 1 that a variant of his discovered numerous timelines layered on top of one another, he's relating the story of an earlier version of Marvel's Sacred Timeline, before the variants clashed over the dominion of the timeline. If it seems familiar, it's because it's exactly what the MCU is building to for Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars, and the Multiversal War was won by He Who Remains and the TVA, who erected the Temporal Loom, resetting time into the approved Sacred Timeline, the first time out. The title of Loki season 2 episode 1 "Ouroboros" is no coincidence. Ouroboros nods to the concept of the old snake eating its own tale: an everlasting, inescapable cycle, as well as presenting Ke Huy Quan's stand-out new addition to Loki's ensemble of characters. Loki is effectively telling the audience that the Sacred Timeline is a loop, that everything that will happen has already happened, and that the endpoint is a Multiversal War that will end everything. Surprisingly, if He Who Remains does return or is replaced (possibly even by Loki himself, as teased in season 1), the most likely conclusion for the MCU's future is a reset.
Wow! I've followed you for years (and you are awesome!!!!) - but this is the first time I've seen a reaction that is pretty much current!!! Love you!! [hopefully not in a creepy way!]
i just recovered from a week of covid myself, it seems to be making the rounds again at the moment - hopefully you feel better soon and test negative! anyway, i loved this episode. looking forward to seeing where this season goes and to see more of mobius and loki's dynamic, whatever it may turn out to be (i do lowkey ship lokius - vastly over sylki, as much as i enjoy sylvie's character, i struggle to get behind the self-cest of it all - and this episode felt VERY queerbaity to me and a lot of other lokius shippers). also o.b - i love him a lot already.
Yeah 6 out of 10 from me.. Was OK.. Could be because it was coming right off of the heels of the Ahsoka season Finale And I just wanted more of that series
I feel so bad for you Sesska. You have been sick or getting over having been sick in every single reaction of yours I have ever watched. Life has to be miserable for you.
This is Doctor Who levels of playing with time, and I'm here for it!
Me too!!! "There's a crack in my wall."🖤
I was so happy to see Ke Huy Quan! I don’t watch trailers so it was a surprise to me. He seems perfect for the role of OB.
He stole the episode for me his comedic timing was just gold 😂😂
The best part of the episode
I cant think of any other actor who could naturally pull off that character. It’s just perfect for him.
This episode manages to have more genuine nail biting tension than many shows get to have in their *finales.*
It’s good to be back.
Good point, it actually felt more like a finale than a season premiere. Kinda nutty.
i was afraid he was going to lose his skin.
Please take care, and don't overextend yourself. You are precious to all of us.
This episode is literally better than I could have imagined, fantastic direction, stunning sets 😍
Such a fun episode
Same about Mobius!
"i probably sound so sick"
the camera: no i gotchu sis *barely picks up on it all*

Why does she need to test for being sick if she's sick? I was recently sick, I didn't need testing to tell me something obvious.

No it’s not, it’s the same dumb bs like the 1st season, Loki is still a wuss and the TVA continues to break the MCU with nonsensical time mess

I was happy to see this show up on UA-cam, and I loved your reaction. I agree that B-15 was a standout last season and am so glad she's back.
Thought it over and yeah this is easily my favourite premiere/season premiere for an MCU show.
I'm trying to decide who's back-and-forth banter I like better...Falcon and Bucky, or Loki and Mobius!
Great reaction. Feel better soon.
Please take care and get better!
