Sopranos Laura Choi Stuart and Elissa Edwards present François Couperin's Leçons de ténèbre, an evocative piece intended for performance during Holy Week. This setting of portions from the Book of Lamentations is one of the masterworks of the French Baroque vocal repertoire and will evoke the atmosphere of Holy Week in 18th-century Paris.
