Fascinating, in just one side quest you showed 3 mechanics: hordes (born in X/Y if I'm not mistaken), double and triple battles (double born in Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald, triple born in Black/White) and battle with SOS (born in Sun/Moon), I'm increasingly excited to play the next update ^^

Exactly, these mechanics were born in the generations you mentioned.
For horde battles, I made a small adjustment. I never enjoyed 1V5 against 5 underlevel enemies, so I preferred to transcribe a double or triple battle with reinforcements who arrive at the end of the turn as soon as one of their allies has fallen. A bit like a Trainer battle, but in a wild battle context.
The strategic aspect is also higher.
Same for the SOS battle, instead of a 1V1 which becomes a 1V2, it starts in 2V1, and it gradually increases to 2V3.

And I also noticed something, when I play, I'll need to be careful not to level up my Pokémon too much, I like to grind a lot and get overpowered, but in this case doing that will make my Pokémon unhappy due to the kill system (only if I turn it off in the options, but the fun of this fangame is this system), so I will guarantee that only against the villains that I will give the strongest blows without caring if it will kill or not, against savages and innocents, I will use the weakest blows and hope that no crits come in bad moments.

This is precisely the goal of the mechanic, but high friendship allows you to avoid accidental deaths of your opponents. The more your Pokémon likes you, the more it will moderate excess damage. An overlevel Pokémon must therefore be earned by having previously established bonds of trust with it.
The Pokémons used in this video have a friendship not high enough to have the beginning of mitigation, therefore excess damage is fully inflicted.
