Nice unboxing and well covered points, thanks GBLynden! My favorite bit is the EOTS under the nose. We were going to mold it in foam but I really felt that the sharp facets were better molded in frosted plastic.
Thanks Alpha! That piece really does looks good with the frosted plastic. I just realized I didn't show the underside of the plane, which is just as stunning as the top. Did you see your quick shoutout? lol
Great Job GB! Those hinges are just spare for incase you eventually break a foam hinge you use those to fix (I always just used foam tac or hinge tape). But that what they are there for
Thank you very much! I appreciate the clarification on the hinges and can't wait to fly this. Of course, I have another amazing EDF Unboxing coming very soon too :D
GBLynden's RC so true. Can you try to add flaperons after your maiden? I’m thinking of doing that myself along with adding lights similarly to urrl on hobbysquawk.
Honestly, I probably won't. I like to keep things as simple as possible and that will add another layer of complexity that will negate some of what makes this plane special out of the box. It is pretty great that it is an option though!
You don’t need me to tell you this but your video is informative, to the point, detailed, and just long enough to get the point across. You gave us exactly what we came for. Well done! You fully deserve every hit, sub, and “like” you get for your efforts. You can count me in as a new subscriber!
Thank you so much Gavin! It really is, it really is an amazing plane. I was just putting the final touches on where my maiden CG will be and my radio settings.
This is soo lit the only way to improve would be to add LEDs and fibers at the exhaust to give the impression of afterburner... damn these new wings are amazing.. I'm sold
Me too! I forgot to mention in the video that this is my first big boy EDF Jet that is American. I do have another American EDF Jet unboxing coming very soon though too! :D
That is my plan, I want to be sure everything is dialed it just right before I do. It is so damn good looking that I really want to keep it looking dead sexy :D
You wouldn't find a better foam finish! And to be honest, I didn't understand the canopy plastic thing part but I have a question; how can I make split elevators for a small airplane with one servo?
You are on point about that paint! The canopy plastic means that instead of bare foam being exposed to the elements, it has a layer of plastic to keep it being exposed directly to the elements. As far as the split elevators with one servo, that is a math problem I don't know how to solve. I hope all is well my brother!
If you want them to move independently, yes. If you are ok with them moving in the same plane, then you could just connect them somehow with a stick, carbon fiber, or a tube.
This thing looks pretty sweet I think you'll like Flying it sure is a cool jet. Pilot Ryan had one on the pilots lounge tonight. Maiden flight Sunday Morning right. Have fun buddy 😎

Absolutely stunning. I am going to pick one up as soon as payday rolls around!

Yep, LED's would have been nice, but it is nice, clean, and simple with awesome retracts.
Good honest reveiw!

I haven’t put mine in the air yet but I have put it together just waiting for better weather great video as usual 🛩😀
Thanks Andy! I wish you the best of luck on your maiden my friend and clear skies with calm air soon.
I always like American jet planes, and my favorite part of the plane is the stickers flag
Me too! I forgot to mention in the video that this is my first big boy EDF Jet that is American. I do have another American EDF Jet unboxing coming very soon though too! :D
True

That is my plan, I want to be sure everything is dialed it just right before I do. It is so damn good looking that I really want to keep it looking dead sexy :D
Cool, I've just bought one like that a pair of minutes ago :D.
Nice! Be sure to tame the ailerons and get the CG right with 90%+ elevator throws 👊🏻⚡️👊🏻
@@GBLynden THX, nice tip, (this is my first plane) GREETING FROM MEXICO!!
Greetings my Mexican Brother 👊🏻😎👊🏻
Sweet can’t wait to see fly
Me too Lee!
Nice GB. Check out The Lounge replay on this jet, was info,& hilarious. Ryan talked and Boozers built. Wild stuff GB..... Wild stuff.👍🏻
Thanks Eric! Was Captain Mike there too?
No he didn’t make it, But it was great 👍🏻
Awesome!
