Three engined VC10! Testing the Rolls Royce RB211

- VC10 has two of its Rolls Royce Conway engines swapped to test a single RB211 engine that later powered the Tristar and 747 amongst others.
This was VC10 G-AXLR, chosen because no other aircraft type at that time could accommodate the huge RB211 beneath its wing.
