I used this technique with the shelf liner. I folded it long ways. Since it was 12 inches, I had two long 6 inch strips to use on this ruffle technique. Just cut once making two long 6 inch strips to ruffle in the wreath frame. Thanks for showing this technique. I always used this technique with burlap strips, both turned out good.
I love it! Looks so easy. I'm going to try it today if I can get the burlap. I have yet to find wire wreaths at any of three Dollar Trees in our town. I'll try in Jacksonville next. I hate having to pay so much at other stores. Thank you for sharing this wonderful idea.❤
the burlap in my store was to wide I couldn't get anything that wasn't so I cut it to make it narrower and it raveled terribly!!! I used pinking sheers but it still was a mess!!! yours is beautiful!!!!! thank u for sharing!!!
Hell Debi, greetings from England. I think the video where you probably saw this technique was on Blessed 2craft, that's where I saw it and then I saw your video. This technique is amazing, so simple and I just love the rustic ruffle look, how you can dress it up or down. Thanks for your videos and your daughter's chat in the background!
Combing through Pinterest, tutorials on Google and blogs, so far this is my favorite. It's not so difficult and it's pretty! And you have an adorable accent :)
I use this technique now all the time and I absolutely love how it has turned out and I cannot figure out how to add pictures to the comments to show you...
Me neither... LOL!!!! Find me on Facebook and I will lead you to a couple of groups and you can show them away. I am always looking!!!!! -- Debi's Wreaths and Things
I like your way much better. other videos is to much your has more of a ruffle look to it but I would just use one roll of burlap because I see two takes away the ruffled look. I cannot wait to purchase and make mine...thank you so much...🎃🌰🍂🌺
Just a tip to anyone who reads this... cutting your zip ties with scissors with ruin them in a hurry. Next time your at Walmart, Home Depot, Lowes, and craft store (Walmart is cheapest I think) but pick up a pair of wire cutters and it's much easier to cut with and won't ruin your scissors! Happy Labor Day to all!!
Wonderful! Can you tell me where you purchased the Acorn decoration for your wreath? You said it was on some other sites, but you made yours. I love the saying you have on it - "Welcome to the NUT House". That is so perfect for my house, because my husband works at the Planter's Peanut plant, so he actually works in the Nut House!!!
Most of the time I use floral wire. If I don't have a hole or somewhere to tie in the floral wire, I will make one. LOL!!! Thanks for watching the video!

Where did you buy the sign? It's perfect for our new home that is surrounded with squirrels and nuts trees everywhere in the country.

Most of the time I use floral wire. If I don't have a hole or somewhere to tie in the floral wire, I will make one. LOL!!! Thanks for watching the video!

Debbie its a beautiful wreath but it would have been much nicer if you had actually shown it from the beginning how to “start”
She did have a part 1 but her video ran out. Here is the first page. ua-cam.com/video/sisyIvfr_0E/v-deo.html

How many rolls did you use?
Do you cut your own wood
Very pretty
found em :) what size is yours
My rings are 14.5 and I get all mine from Dollar Tree.
Can you do this with mesh
Yes. I did. I use dollar tree mesh. its pretty
Can you use this same technique with the mesh?
I am not sure but if I did I would use the mesh from Dollar Tree or the very small rolls from Walmart. I think it may be the 6 inch mesh.
I was wondering if you could do the same thing!
I was wondering the same thing, can you use this technique with mesh.
How much did that cost please?
robin hunt just the burlap and wreath frame was about $8. When you start adding ribbon and stuff it gets on up there.
thanks
oops bars
