In this video, I show you how to create a Pull Through Ruffle wreath base using 2 rolls of 5-1/2" x 15' burlap. I use a 12" wire frame for this project.

Absolutely love this method. I am a newbie at the buralp pull method, but this made it so easy to do. I still battle twisting burlap but it's so much easier now. Thanks for your great tutorial

I was so impressed by the tutorial on the double wreath pull through. It was easy to understand and very detailed. (especially as you had that injury to your finger. I took a divet out of my pointer finger with my rotary cutter also so now I know how to work with one finger in the air. LOL)

2 things. 1st.... I feel like a fool for not figuring out how to do this before now LOL I can't tell you how much burlap I have sitting over there in a basket. I love it, I get it when I see a color I like, and then it goes in the pile because I HATE pulling it through a wreath. I get too ill about the third section and say to heck with it . I don't do them because I hate having to do it once much less twice around LOL You have just saved my sanity !! and 2. I am glad to see I'm not the only one that says Wonky ! LOL

Definitely going to try this. I have 4 more wreaths to do as Christmas gifts and this will save me a lot of time.
I think I'm going to try this with using two different colors. I have the regular burlap color and burgundy or the chocolate color. Idk yet, but fingers crossed it will turn out great!!

hello. I have a question. Do you have to spray your deco mesh wreath with spray adhesive and then spray it with a U V Resistant spray, just because you have it hanging on your front door.
If a person used a 14" or a 16" would 3 rolls of burlap cover it? I know you used 12" and two worked, but since they dye in different color lots I would just like to be sure I have enough burlap. Yours turned out great and looks very rich with the dk green. TY for sharing. This is my second time watching. :-)

I have done these for years ..because I hate tying , I did this..I do it with deco mesh , burlap , and I use 10 inch , 21 inch or smallest one..
I was just going to ask poster if this technique would work for deco mesh! I’m new to wreath making. Michael’s has all seasonal deco mesh and ribbon for 70% off this week. So I’m making several!!

I'm assuming you used double rolls so you only had to go around the wreath once. There are four wire rings, which wire did you fold the burlap on?
Would 2 15-foot rolls be enough to do a 14” wreath?

next wreath I do I want to make a round wreath and do the ruffle pull through...and try it with the two rolls going together like this...
I'm having a hard time seeing exactly how you are aligning the burlap to pull through. I just can't seem to get it right
