Yes happened on my car and my wife’s car is a Ford issue most of the time its the camera itself it could be the wiring harness to the camera but that’s rare I replaced the camera on mine and my wife’s and that fix the problem camera runs around 120 bucks give or take depends where you buy it from

Mine has 129k on it now. It’s still a good running car. The only real issues that iv had and other people I know that has this car is the catalytic converter goes out early and the climate control button stopped working. Unfortunately for the climate control when that happens you have to get the buttons rebuilt because Ford doesn’t make them anymore. As long as the oil changes haven been done regularly that many miles it should be fine

Sorry im getting to this late but the maintenance is very light haven't had any major issues. The main thing to look out for is the water pump on the 3.7 but if you keep the oil changed it should last a long time. A friend of mine has one with 275,000 on the clock and still running strong.
SHO has a different motor than this particular MKS. This one has the 3.7L naturally aspirated engine. The SHO/MKS Ecoboost have the 3.5L Twin turbo engine. The 3.7Liter cars are standard front wheel drive, optional AWD while the 3.5 TT cars are standard AWD. Also, the 3.7L is about 304hp 280ft/lb tq while the Ecoboost model is 365hp 350ft/lb tq. The ecoboost gets very similar fuel economy if driven semi sanely. It also has HUGE potential for tuning and when tuned properly can see 400hp plus easily. The MKS Ecoboost is basically an SHO. While the SHO wears a suit to the party, the MKS wears a tux. I personally own a 2015 MKS Ecoboost and love the hell out of it. It is the definition of a true sleeper car. No one EVER expects what this thing can do.

It's also very important to keep the coolant changed with the specific Motorcraft coolant called for. Very important for the internal water pump
