Wow! the MCF series is so different now. i remember finishing my first mcf, prime suspects and second one i finished is ravenhearts... nostalgia..
Played every single Mystery Case File games up to 13th Skull and boy was I in for a surprise for this one when I was catching up on my MCF games. I can take jumpscares fine as long as I'm prepared but that reporter...NOPE and NOPE...lol did not expect that from a MCF game...
Big Fish games are the best! I was playing the Dire Grove one and it always made me scared
Finished this pretty soon after I bought it on the 20th. Sadly my computer is a bit slow and had lagging video problems so I couldn't enjoy it as much as I wanted. Glad to see that you are uploading it!

I stopped playing after the jumpscare at 3:33, and never played any other game after that since I was so traumatised as a young kid
I think this game is as cool as all the others. At least this game has a plot

Hm, I've never given it much thought. I'd say that something was interfering with the signal, not that something actually happened to the reporter.

Is there any reference to the Ravenhearst girls you brought back to life at the end of the last game? Ordinarily, the detective would mention their last cast in the journal, but it seems to have been replaced with a simple to-do list this time.

In this particular case I used fraps, but I don't like it very much, I only use it as a last resort when my other screen recorders don't work well with the game. I also use ZDSoft Game Recorder,Growler Guncam and Camtasia Studio 7.1

You can get it from Big Fish Games. If you haven't played any of the games in the Mystery Case Files series, you might want to check out Return to Ravenhearst and Dire Grove first, they're better than this one.
i tried that combination code on fhe safe and it didnt work the cbc 7509 is that the right one cause i entered it correctly and nothing happened

Played Hunstville on day 2 of lockdown cause I accidentally saw it when I was browsing my library steam.
I was like "Hey, theres a game I haven't seen for years (I dont remember when the fck did bought it 😂).
Finished it. Had a heck of a time. Saw theres a bundle in Steam. Bought it.
And now I'm at the 9th installment of the series.

Hey do you think its worth it to buy the other stuff. I saw on wiki that Shadow Lake is the last their project on this franchise before handing it over to another studio.
There are a few solid games after the 9th game, but they don't have the same vibe. If you are a fan of the Ravenhearst saga, you might Key to Ravenhearst

hey i strarted a whole new game over again did everything that it told me to do and i even entered in the safe code again cbc 7509 and it didnt work again can you like post a new video about it or something cause i do want to keep playing it but i cant pass it till i enter in the right safe combo.

whats the correct combination
It's random. Once you develop the photo, zoom in on basin, and note the van's license plate letters. In my case they were cbc. They represent the first part of the combination. Then after you open the guestbook, you'll see Jack's apartment, in my case it was 509. So, the combination was cbc7509.

I forgot to say, the first digit is Kelly's birthday - just the day. I don't know if that's random too, in my case it was October 7, hence the number 7 in the combination. If you did everything right, you might want to try to start a new game, it could be a bug.
