TysyTube - the next Generation
A Tysylet!
Looks just like their dad no head
Cute lil baby
Professional model
can I just point out that he's using blue sparkly hot glue and i'm living for it.
hes living like larry
I keep wondering why they sell that stuff, and this video made me realize: sometimes you wanna see where you haven't got any hot glue.
The legend
The glitter helps it stick. Have you ever tried to get glitter off something
That's a perfect touch tho
"Do you find sandblasting satisfying?"
It's like, half the reason why i am subed like a dozen restoration channel and now want to restore a car.
Same. Cant even drive, or afford one, but I still want a project car
And when I know they have a sandblaster, and they didn't use it in the video, I sort of feel cheated. TysyTube at least uses it on wood... Oh My!!!
Me too. Just dipping in paint stripper doesn't do it.
It reminds me of a power washer , and I love those!!
Tbh, i always found the rust remover more satisfying, idk why. Definitely satisfying with wood tho
Great!
"Yeah, wanna see him testing this one!"
...
"Best test ever."
None of us excpect THAT test! : )
When I was a little kid, my grandpa used to teach me how to straighten nails and reuse them to build toys out of scrap wood. He grew in a poor family in the countryside and nothing was wasted... you touched my heart, thank you so much for this restoration
My grandpa teached me the same! I used to make my dolls furniture out of fruit wooden boxes
@@LuxieDamned really creative
I love how you didn’t make the seat repair perfect, allowing the resin to showcase your repair job. Very clever and it turned out so beautiful! Thank you.
Did anyone else think the baby was a literal doll when tysy first put him on the bench? Or am I just going crazy
i thought it was a doll too!!!! lmao
🖐
Same!
Oh my god he has a baby!!! What a lil cutie 🥺🥺❤️
You mastered the epoxy resin use. No bubbles or flaws. Good job.
I've never seen anyone using vibration. But it makes sense because it's the Same method as with concrete.
KILLERRAPTOR666 and with cakes!
@@Silent_Soliloquies ok cakes i didn't know yet.
When my children were toddlers I bought both of them antique chairs which they still have today. Then I bought my grandchildren the very same type of antique chairs after searching high and low for them. My daughter was amazed that I found them three states away. I finished them myself and now, my teenage grandchildren love those chairs. I think they still make their stuffed animals sit in them. LOL
That went from "Cool!" to "Awww!" real quick.
Now restore the cow.

Ever since my dad died, the little notes you leave everywhere makes me so sad and happy: my dad used to do this sorta thing and it gives me great comfort. Thank you for your videos.
My dad died a long time ago man- takes time. I'm okay with it now and turn his best parts into my best parts - maybe you should leave notes for the people you love? Keep his spirit alive. :)
This is making me cry :(
I do admire how you pay attention to even the smallest details, most people would have just used new nails or just gotten the rust off the old ones but you went the extra mile with them and made it just that much better
The child’s presence makes the difference between a good and great video, I think. The stool is just the right size for a teeny-tiny desk!
Looks like someone became a daddy 😊
Congratulations, Tysytube 💪🏼
Person: “just get rid of it, why bother fixing it when you can just buy a new one?”
Restoration folks:”So anyway, I start blasting-“
LOL
ah frank reynolds
😂😂😂
Sand blasting
Those mini tumbler triangles look tasty, if they were candy I would totally eat them.
1. Buy grinding triangles.
2. Stick grinding triangles in food-grade silicone.
3. When silicone is set, peel off triangles.
4. Fill your new grinding triangle mold with melted hard or gummy candy.
5. Let set; toss in powdered sugar or flour if candy is too sticky to work with.
Boom. Homemade tumble grinder candy.
@@DaRkLoRdZoRc Optionally, fir gummy candies, coat in sour sugar crystals for added flavor and possibly closer texture to the originals.
They look like mint toblerone
TysyTube: (No wood needed)

I was kinda hoping for resin dowels haha.
The dowels weren't really necessary. He could have just floated the two pieces in the resin.
Tysy: Do you find the sandblasting satisfying?
Me: Is the ocean wet?
Also, I love how instead of regular old clear glue gun glue, he uses glitter glue gun glue!!!
OH, MY GOD, THE ADORABLE CHUBBY LITTLE BABY.
That caught me off guard. 😄
Excellent job!
Baby-tested. Dad-approved. What a cutie!
"Do you find sandblasting satisfying?"
My favorite part is when you speed up the repetitive parts. It's amazing how delicate this rugged work sounds when it's sped up!
No, no. Thank YOU for creating quality content. You are awesome!
Never in their life did those nails receive a better treatment. Strightened, cleaned, filed, polished and carefully hammered as if made out of the finest metals.
And you can sleep better knowing that the nails are now completely invisible except for the sweet little heads...SMH
"Final test"
Cutest tester I've ever seen!
😍*heart melts*😍
'The final test' took my breath away.... so cute!!
The soft little baby is melting my heart ❤
This is not restoration this is absoluately art! Extraordinary job. 👏👏👏
Easily in top 5 milk stool restorations I've watched today
I love the use of the vibrating plate as a solution to bubbles and getting into those tight spots. I do however still recommend the use of a pressure pot in combination with the vacuum pot. Curing in a pressure pot really condenses any remaining bubbles to a microscopic size whilst also forcing the resin into the tiniest fissures in the wood. It isn't always necessary but with smaller pieces with more details it is an absolute must have. worth keeping in mind if you ever resin cast parts in a mould for something you are repairing.
yes is very good 👍🏻
True
This show including the production, tools used, projects selected, finished projects are all first class. I really love this channel. Thanks Dr. Marc

Cody Evans thats my mechanics my dude
Compared to your earlier works in resin, this one was flawless. The exposed dowels have me a bit confused, but who am I to question the artist, and it turned out beautiful in the end anyways. Awesome work!
I too pondered the exposed wooden pegs 🤔 but agreed, nothing to keep this from being amazing
The pegs ruin it completely for me
I have been watching you vids 3 days straight and just cant stop, you are by far my most favorite youtuber.
Keep it up man
I love how you made it transparent instead of a total blue. Job well done Mr Tysy. 👍

You know, I really love restoration videos. I watch all kinds. For me it is bringing things back from certain doom and keeping history. Here you have done that with a twist. Beautiful work! Beautiful Baby!
Why you would ever.get a thumbs down is crazy. You are a creative artist
So THAT'S why TySy hasn't been making as many videos as usual, lately!
He transformed into a baby!
It’s a final twist!
yes🤣
Tysy is that your little Bub? He’s so cute!
That's a great way to give old things new useful life and still keep the history intact.
Restoring rusted nails rather than throwing them away and using new ones, wow!!! Now that is real craftsmanship.
Kinda makes me want to run out and buy a cow.
😂😂😂😂😂😂✌️
Milking a cow is fun for 15 minutes.
But then your hands will start cramping because you aren't used to that work.
And you have to do it twice a day for 10 Month (which is the average time a cow gives milk after she had a calf).
Great job, it would have been nice to see you try to repair with wood. Still looks awesome though.
You will never be able to fit a cow on this stool lol
@@jonathancook4022 Cows have no respect for furniture. They're always moooooving it around.
Cutest mini-dairy farmer ever at the end. 😁
Although these films have zero educational and substantive value, they are still pleasant to watch. They are so relaxing.Admittedly, Tusy found the perfect format for such films.
21 minutes of pure joy. Love the finish. Thanks
When I first saw the colour of the resin, I wasn't too impressed, but I have to say that the final effect is just stunning! Yeah, so you could have replaced the wooden top, but this keeps the product as whole as it can be. Best restoration yet for me personally. 👍👍👍
How is it as whole as can be if half the missing wood is replaced with resin?
check out my mechanics. That guy is amazing!
@@misfitoutcast1769 He's amazing too, I watch both of them. TTR does great restorations that feels old school to me and how I would have to do it without any machines (except for a sandblaster). MM has all the engineering machining skills I wish I had (plus his machines).

Absolutely stunning skill, meticulous patience and craftsmanship. Thank you for this video, truly.
The sand blasting is my favorite part of any restoration!! Phenomenal job on everything you do!!
I loved the note at 5:40
Nice touch!
I am enthralled by your ability to take an item of little to no monetary, historical, or intrinsic value and create something approaching a piece of art. You haven't changed it - it is still the basic, practical piece it was conceived as, but with a new life and future. Thank you for sharing this, and the cutest little feet and dimpled knees I have seen in a long while!
PS - YES!! - I find sandblasting quite satisfying, almost mesmerizing!
😘
Hasn't changed it? I think you'll find replacing missing wood with blue resin changed it quite a bit.
first off, you take restoration to a new level......restoring the nails to that degree is commitment. second, i really like like how you used gloves to handle that kid...never know what's on those things!
Safety glasses would be a good idea too; all sorts of foul stuff can spray out of them.
Beautiful Baby!!! Congratulations!!! Wonderful Restoration On The Stool Also.
Thank you for showing the proper use of vacuum for resin work. This is a MUCH better and safer method than pressure pots! It addresses the fundamental need for degassing, rather than masking trapped gas by reducing size. At less than one atmosphere it is so much safer and effective. I loved that you make the age and damage of the part the feature for the finished restoration. As we all age, I hope we appreciate our wrinkles as an expression of our character. Bravo!
I love watching sandblasting and bathing metal to remove rust. There's just something so satisfying to see that crap be banished to show the beauty beneath!
Great job, as usual! If you can, bring the new tester back. They did a great job.
God bless the baby for you... and well done 👏
I'v straightened a lot of nails in my days. (many I bent myself) but I must say I've never polished them!
This is a great project!
5:14 It really bugs me that you didn't completely glue/hammer the two pieces of wood back together.
Good timing. I was just starting to browse some restoration videos when this videos notification pop up.
Oh my goodness the baby as the tester at the end!!!!!!! Soooo cute!!!!!! 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
The final test was the most important part of the video! I am totally convinced now!
I love the sand blasting. It is extremely satisfying. Restore what you want, how you want, I’ll still be watching ❣️
Doctor: What were you admitted to this asylum?
Patient: I watched videos showing a guy removing scratches from rusty nails and polishing them.
Doctor: Nurse!!!
Because of the trouble involved to restore the nails when you can buy new ones so cheap, that was my initial reaction as well, but the flip side is it’s satisfying to use the originals and be able to do what he did restoring something so simple
I also wondered why nails who are 99% submerged into wood need this treatment and than i had a wild guess - i once heard that the old steel was far better than todays steel (which at first hand has to be cheap) and maybe he wanted the old ones besides their originality also for their durability.
One of my favorite parts.
Sandblasting is my wife’s favorite part of any of your projects. 😎
I really enjoyed this restoration, it kept as much of the original material as possible.
To avoid marring the wood when prying out old hardware, put a metal palette knife or spatula on the wood surface to protect from the pliers.
I learnt that from Thomas Johnsons channel
