Also as of recently Netflix has not been working and neither has HBO max. Nothing on this radio system has been working as it should running into a lot of issues .
Yeah I’m having the same problem as others. The latest versions of the autokit app won’t even launch on my gen 4 T style radio. The version on your site will launch but it doesn’t recognize the adapter as even being connected.
Hello John I have the GEN 3 in my F150. The mic for the phone stop working and the steering wheel controls aren't working. And idea what could be going on?
Is there a place in the dash, behind the radio, or elsewhere where this can be plugged in permanently so I don't have to lose one of my usb's to this device?

I have the Gen4. I tried it on all 3 USB’s on the radio and my 3 Car USB’s. The lights come on but it still says “Please insert the product” or “Please insert the box into the USB port of the car”. I pressed RST, the unit did reset but it still won’t connect. Can you help? Thanks
@@LinksWellIncYou were correct.. I eventually purchased the AutoKit as described in the video. Everything connects just fine. The primary issue I’m having now is it will connect, but maybe 8-10 minutes later it disconnects and displays “Please insert the product”. I have to turn the vehicle off and restart for it to connect again. And once it connects it disconnects again after 8-10 minutes and I just eventually go to the regular Bluetooth to play music. Can you help?
@@BobbyJOnline so try using a different USB input. There may be an issue with voltage. Or make sure the dongle and the app are both updated. If the firmwares do not match they will crash.
@@LinksWellIncBingo!! That was it. I connected it to the unit and it hasn’t crashed yet. NOW, my final issue is. Sometimes AutoKit won’t attempt to connect. I can shut the car off and/or restart/reboot and it doesn’t try to connect so I have to use my Bluetooth audio. Is there a newer version or alternative AutoKit app or an update that I would need to install? My unit shows its up to date on everything.
Hey man, I have the same exact dongle and it even pops up with the lights so I know it’s getting power, but the app isn’t recognizing that I have the dongle plugged into the usb. Any help?
I have gen iv downloaded the app when i try to open in apps folder nothing happens then tried to open apps after download it keeps going back to file manger and can't get to page for allow Autokit to access photos, media and files I'm connect to blue tooth and wi-fi
@@Sandershenderson-y7e you downloaded AutoKit? Are you positive the dongle is an AutoKit dongle? In Settings/System/Android Settings. In there you will find the place to give AutoKit authorization.

My auto kit app crashes every time I update it. However, it doesn’t crash when I don’t update it. So I dont know if to upgrade the box and leave the auto kit as is or what should I do?
@@LinksWellInc I’m using the gen 4, it appears every time I download the updated file on the website the app deletes itself somehow. So what I just did was i bought a carlinkit dongle, connected it to the phone link port, and used phone link app instead and it worked perfectly. I did this in the past 20 minutes since the auto kit route wasn’t working for me.

But I was trying to tell you to just buy a superior tek dongle from Amazon that’s about $120 and connect that to the phone link usb port. It should work automatically without having to do anything else.

Verify the Protocol in the HVAC settings? Make sure it’s ChanguTong w/XINPU

It has to plug into a USB. The radio has 3. So you will have to use one of the 3 to use this dongle.

Are you running the stick launcher or a different launcher like Nova?

Nope unfortunately I gave up and sticked to wired carplay.

Maybe the box is bad. Can you get a different device to work in the USBs.
