My wife’s sister lived in the 800 Viviendas for 40 years. We always stayed with her. It is getting worse so last year I bought her a piso in a much better part of town. I never felt threatened when I walked around but the power was always going out in the summer and the elevator kept breaking. They burned a car a little while before we got there last time. I heard gunshots a lot too. The rats I saw were HUGE. She was getting older so I couldn’t just leave her there. I’m not rich so I’ll have to work a little longer to retire but it was worth it

Not only turists never visit Las 3000 viviendas. Most of the people from Sevilla and Spain have never been and are not aware of the insane situation of the hood. Your video surprised me because I knew about Las 3000 viviendas, I’ve watched some programs on tv, but never saw the deep inside of the hood. You are brave, Elliot. Thanks a lot for your video. It made me think a lot about gipsies communities in Spain and their problems, which I find too difficult to be solved.

I appreciate hearing this perspective, especially from someone who's familiar with the place and its community. Spain is on my list of destinations to visit this year, so it's incredibly valuable to get insights like this.
I commend Elliot for his content. His videos do more than entertain; they educate and prompt reflection on societal issues often overlooked, something I aim to achieve with my channel as well.

I am a web developer, last year I got a contact, he presented himself as a scrapper and he wanted a website. The business was legal, but he gave me a fake name and it didn't match the name I read in his @gmail (he forgot to change it LOL), his real name was Drenko (something). I did a quick search with Google, and I discovered he was involved in theft just few years ago, his gang stole a truck to remove the aluminum sides, to sell them as scrap metal. Then he was involved in some violent fight in a bar. Police arrested them, but for very short jail time. Today he is living in my same town, with a family and a fake name... doing "scrapper".

I have some friends who lives near 3000 viviendas and they had never go to that hood. 3000viviendas peolple make many problems In seville center also because they never do bad things in their hoods. For example, last halloween many young boys from the hood did the “pijos hunt”, they make some groups and they went to the rich zones of Seville to rob boys and girls or hurt them. Me alegro de que salieses bien del barrio, espero que nos veamos por málaga, sanos y salvos!!😂🤜🏻

Just have situational awareness. Don't look like a tourist. If you look like a local you won't have an issue in most European countries. The Roma(Gypsies) are good pickpockets and do prey on tourists.

Dont worry europe as a whole is VERY safe. There are very very few areas that are actually dangerous and those areas are almost always far away from the touristy areas. However in Barcelona I would avoid or be cautious in El Raval, its not that bad of a place but since its so close to the touristy areas, its quite common for tourists to get robbed there.

@@bread4014 There are literally over a thousand lawless/no-go zones/suburbs in France alone spread out over 800 towns. Define "very safe", and "very very few [dangerous] areas". If this guy brought a camera there, the "locals" would tell him immediately to get the f- out and to not film them otherwise they'd pick their phones calling people, start whistling and immediately 15 dudes surrounding him to beat him to near death if not death, stabbed and whatever else.
