    Does the latest scholarship put the beginning dates for both Egyptian hieroglyphs and Mesopotamian cuneiform writing at 3400 BC? I thought the approximate dates used to be at around 3200 BC for cuneiform and 3000 for hieroglyphs. When did this change?

    By the moment the origin of the people , so called Minoans is not known, the Linear A cannot be deciphered with a 100 % certainty, in relation to phonetic values and meaning of the writings, except for the archive part , which is obvious ..as the case was with Linear B , which was expressing an early Greek language…
