Simon is one of my favorite drivers...his ETS races driving Tamiya F-104 and TRF-419x were epic!

I do see drivers at the club with a double tap braking. Prob like having an abs

I always wondered how some of the drivers do it. I've heard some use drag brakes for most corners on indoor and maybe some actual braking on the turn after a fast straight. I've seen interviews with others that don't use drag brakes at all and only normal braking. It would be cool if one of the top drivers explained his braking setup and then had a video of their race with another video inlay showing their hands and what they are doing at the same time.

I can tell you one of the top (i.e. TQ Mod) brakes only till 70% throttle movement at the end of the straight. From throttle to 70% brake quickly then bleed off the brake till the apex then back on throttle. Steering hands is constantly moving (like an overly excited racer) as he is constantly correcting the steering (such is the amount of steering his car has). Otherwise his car will be understeer. Drag brag in Mod using HW is around 15%. For me the less drag brake to give you your fastest lap time the better.

Hi guys, just stumbled across this video. What I can say is that modified drivers always use drag/motor brake. Stock never really uses it as it costs too much cornerspeed. Hope this helps :)
