Fuckin' A man, I started playing DDR again at a arcade about an hour away from me and realized how much I miss the game. Currently looking for a decent DDR pad to play at home, from another old school DDR player another keep it up!
Just from the fact you said you're an old school DDR player, I can guess you're probably in your 30's+ (if not 40/50's!), and yeah man, going back to it is such a nostalgic - almost cathartic - experience. Realizing how much you miss the game, to the fact that it was a time of good friends, healthy physical activity, etc. And at least in my case, most if not all those things were missing for a time afterwards... Anyway not to get too deep in thought, but I hope you find a great setup! I have no experience with home pads, but I've heard the L-Teks are a good [relatively]-budget option, although I'm sure you'd find better info on the DDR subreddit or wherever 🙂
WHEW Aaron in Japan is a name I haven't heard in such a long time. Lmao that Yasu tribute was fucking great!! Congrats on the AAA man! I just got an L-Tek pad so maybe one day I can get better than my teenage self too
Speaking of marvelous, I realized early on I probably should have been doing this on Extreme, because I look closer to the arrow flashes and it helps to see white flashes vs. yellow flashes to help keep my timing in check. I'm sure this woulda been a pretty bad MA, hahaha... but I also really wanted to get my first AAA on the DDRMAX interface (score "bonus" and all) 😁 Thanks bro!
Amazing! ❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻✨
I can't stop crying! Buckets of tears 😂 Damn I need to bust out the pad for old times sake. Congratulations!
Yoooo that's crazy. Very impressive indeed
