Cory I don't know what to say. To be honest I feel embarrassed that my country makes it so hard for ordinary decent people to come here to live. It is not so long ago since many Irish people were forced to leave Ireland and at the time America and other countries welcomed them with open arms. I wish the world was still like that. Cory, have you contacted your local TD's? They're members of government and can appeal on your behalf and may be able to swing it so you can apply for the correct visa while still here especially considering school starts again in September and leaving would negatively impact your kids.
