Ballscore/BallStat is the best thing going for season replays!

Nice. I’ve lost most of my sight & only play on the computer. A big fan of APBA. i scanned in the master boards into Excel and made a’game play’ spreadsheet for the cards & teams. With this I’m able to play. It’s the way to go.

      That's great! I'm glad that you've found a way to play. :)

I build spreadsheets to play ALL my boardgames. I'm an old English guy just getting into baseball though it's never on TV here (or at least not on my TV).
I just got Payoff Pitch and normally I'd select and copy into Excel. Problem with this game is you can't accurately select the cards accurately.
Question then if you can help..How do you take a Snapshot. I've tried the "Snipping Tool" but without success.
Thanks for a really informative video. Got to find a team to support now.

If you hold down the Windows logo + shift + S on your keyboard, you can drag a box around what you want to snip. That will save it to your clipboard. From there you can open it and save it as a jpg using Paint or any other picture editor. Thanks for watching!

@@baseballmaelstrom Thanks for an amazingly swift reply. An idea I had is to copy the individual jpegs into the spreadsheet and put a hyperlink above each so I can pull up any card.
At nearly 70, I'm trying to learn rules for new sport. Already watched soooo many baseball and Strato videos but like the makers of the board game, it's assumed you already know the rules and terminology.
I've already got Strat-o-matic, Payoff Pitch and Deadball.
Don't want to pester you but one baseball rules question "Can a player steal a base even if the batter strikes or strikes out?"
Your video is one of a kind so thanks again.

That sounds like a great way of having the cards handy! To answer your question, yes, a runner can attempt to steal on any pitch.

Did you manually type the data from each individual card into your spreadsheet? If not, how did you do it. In other sports games I play in Excel, I can usually copy from a pdf and paste into Excel. Then a bit of clean up text to columns BUT in this game, the season cards can't be copy/pasted accurately enough to do this, if you get what I mean. Thanks for a great upload. Your videos and playlist are enjoyable and helpful.

Yes, I typed it all in manually. As you said, there wasn’t an easy way to copy/paste. With “only” 200 players it didn’t take me too long. Thanks!
