- I don't think 'Booing' is right. I think it's not sporting! It happened to Max Verstappen again Monza!
Clearly the fans were not happy with the late safety car but it did happen. Max Verstappen was ahead before that safety car and he did come in for a fresh set of soft tyres! So I think he would have still won the race.
Ferrari did have the pace to keep Mercedes away but not enough to take on Redbull! And they didn't make any mistake in Monza and that has to be said. They just had some bad luck with the safety car in the start. - Спорт

I don't agree with last year's fia decision on the way Masi handled it. But I don't hold anything against Verstappen. This coming from a Hamilton fan. Max did what any other would do. He went for the win. That's his job! He deserved the win in Monza! He's undoubtedly an incredible driver. Top-notch. The FIA should be held accountable and not the the drivers. Fact is, he's an outstanding driver. Hes deserved everything that has come to him.

Booing should be reserved for controversial races when the fans consider their favorite driver/ team to be robbed of victory by the opponent. Max did a clean race till the end, there was no reason for booing him. Maybe Leclerc was robbed of the opportunity to fight for a win but it was down to the guys clearing the track and FIA deciding to finish under safety car.
The pace of the RB18 and Max...I don't think LEC and Ferrari had a chance...

But the booing only started then when the FIA decision about the safety car finish came through, that's when everyone booed, and then maybe 20,000 out of 250,000 continued booing in a childish way at Max. Don't try deny that, because I was literally there. But don't act like all of us tifosi acted like the minority, because we definitely did not.
