Just seen your post on the generator, I think why I enjoy your channel is your down to earth, and your family is a Real truck driving family and what people, who don't know what our families and drivers do to get products and meat 🥩 and produce and everything else we get to the general public!!
Put a few solar panels on the roof. My husband put 3 on ours and we can run lights, a refrigerator and tv for at least 10 hours at night. They even keep the batteries charged over the winter. Have fun camping! Stay safe and God bless
You seemed pleased with the power unit. Bought one this week. Not sure why anyone in southwest FL would want an emergency power supply 😁🤣🤣. Love all your videos. Nothing like Midwest common sense 😊
Hey, so glad that you are reviewing this product. I’m a trucker also and I’m using a competitor’s products in my semi and I have a great standard of living while I away from home. They work well for me. In combination with my HF Predator 2000 to recharge.
I guess am old school because I have a diesel powered generator that we got from the army surplus it is a 75 or 76 model I think it's down at the hunting camp right now and it powered three campers in a weekend it has a 30 gallon tank and we split the cost for fuel great video keep up the good work God bless from GA and stay safe and happy holidays
Thanks Schmidt now I’m $1400 poorer! We’ve had two 3 days spells so far this year without power and we froze our butts off. This should at least keep one room warm at night.
After seeing the price I was hurting to bad to smile. I can just almost buy a Generac generator for what that thing cost. I must say it would be worth that for someone lucky enough to be able to camp or like yourself a truck driver that may be in a very remote area and has limited resources, it would be great if you were broke down. The best of luck with this product.
@@bryanbennett972 lol Not likely to happen. I don't think DOT allows hand controls on a semi. At least I never heard of it. I would also need a wheelchair lift just to get into it lol I wish I could drive a semi though. If I would have been born with a normal body, I would have done time in the military then gone into trucking.
oo I like that - dunno if it means anything or not but I do like you guys (and you all seem to be W9 drivers too hmmm) doing product reviews on stuff you actually use.. Hey, I was going back in time here and ran across a little series you did with "The Warden" on a run into NC (where I am too) Y'all looked like you had a ton of fun and I enjoyed the heck out of it... any plans on a repeat or other joint revenue excursions?
Hey kurt…I don’t know what you have done to the 6.0. On the risk of getting my post censored . I get the rest. Call idi speed they are the 6 liter gurus..They will build you a custom tune that will get the the engine right and be safe. Dealt with them since 04. My 07 has ran there tunes since new..From a international tech you will be satisfied with no worries
I thought this was a sponsored review until you started the "blah blah blah." Lol. I don't think that would be in an approved script BTW, there is a way to setup a commission with Amazon so that if someone uses your link you get a small part of the order. It won't be much but it hurts less than a black eye.
did you even want to do this review ? LOL. tbh though , you're probably more convincing than those other UA-camrs with their reviews because you actually use the thing instead of saying you use it

Keep yourself safe out there Kurt see you next time
Nice, thanks for the demo
Nice Real world Review Kurt. Probably beats one of those noisy Gas powered Inverters.
I would love one of those for power outages. but those are way outside of my budget lol
Lol they were way out of price range as well.
Well if you become an Owner Operator Trucker like Mr. Schmidt, you can write it off as a Business Expense.
🤣🤣🤣

Not in the near future, but when summer comes she will ride along with me. She's to busy over Christmas break this year.
Commercial Man Schmidt 🙌
the collars look great lol I hope they last a long time.
Next Tuesdays video shows just how awsome they are. Thank you again.
Had a chance to see how it holds up in really cold weather?
No, just in the upper teens .
@@truckingwithschmidt7120 that's really cold to me 🤣
My truck isn't allowed an inverter..I would love to get something like this for a microwave..
Also makes very quiet Apu.
Nice I need one.
Hey Kurt I have a question, what is the reason for hanging your air lines under the reefer. Or if anyone else out there knows
It keeps them from dragging across the catwalk and possibly getting snagged and broken.
@@johnsiu2529 I'm thinking of doing this for my truck but my worry is it putting to much tension on the lines during turns.
Takes the weight off the connection's as well as snag free turning
@@lifewith_ernie4379 You haven't been trucking long, have you?
@@OldDunollieman what makes you think that?
👍👍
Love your review. Had me laughing. they are a little pricey
Does it have a solar panel to recharge it?
It works with all solar panels made, but they don't have panels themselves
@@truckingwithschmidt7120 good to know. That would be helpful for boondocks camping
Buy your own.
Is your camper 30 or 50 amps?
It's 30, but there is absolutely no need for a 30amp setup in there.
@@truckingwithschmidt7120 okay

all you need is 2 bread ties to tie cord up
lol Bread ties are too short.
300 Celsius is 572 F.
CAN IT MAKE A CUP OF COFFEE
I'd assume so pretty easy. Unfortunately I don't drink the stuff
Ya need to find an Asian guy to rewind the cord and pack it back into the too small space, like the factory guy did. 😑😅😅😅
Lol
